  1. I like the bar customization, but I'm not sure about the taste. Seems like it might make it too easy to detect spiked drinks, and also a lot of coding work, and a lot of spam in the chat, if you're gobbling down food, or guzzling drinks.
  2. I would say, increase burn damage too (As they would dry out.) And for mechanical difference, err, maybe having the need for some sort of on-body fluid IV, as to not dry out, the IV needing replenishing?
  3. Custodian works too. (: Just not janitors. Maybe concierge as well?
  4. It doesn't really need to be split up, but I just think it'd be fun. Before detective and forensic were split into two, it was just the same job with two titles. I think it's just more of a (minor but fun) choice.
  5. Issa Sanitation technician/Sanitation expert or something like that. And/or custodian.
  6. I don't think I've had a lot of experience with your characters yet, but I haven't seen you cause any trouble, and your background looks solid. +1 (:
  7. I altered and expanded the backstory a bit. I know it's not perfect, but I have a hard time coming up with a good Vaurca backstory, I hope you like it more now. <3
  8. Still a +1, but I also want to attest to how good SCU is of an AI!
  9. Looks like a solid background, and LR is overal a pretty cool guy, IC and OOC. He has my +1
  10. BYOND Key: Wiebman Character Names: Samuel Ibn Najjar, Romayne Smirnov, Gervasio Robustelli, Weronika Popov Species you are applying to play: Vaurca What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Green-ish. (RGB 71, 71, 21) Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: Because I think that the Vaurca, as a species, is a neat concept. I like the idea of a hivemind caste-type species, as it allows for cool roleplay, and I would like to try playing a bound Vaurca in game, after (if at all) I get the whitelist, also just playing a huge insect guy, who looks pretty neat, seems fun as well. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Plenty of things, the widespread depression among unbound Vaurca, because they miss the VR, having to work in fairly bad conditions, (as the normal station air isn't breathable, the light hurts their eyes, and they have trouble communicating with the others), playing an bound slave, playing them being similar to playing a slaved synthethic, but with less personality, and just having to be a second rate citizen, and subject to plenty of racism. Character Name: Ka'Akaix'Vohn K'Lax Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs What do you like about this character? Ka'Akaix'Vohn K'Lax was like any other unbound vaurca, spending lots of years in the blissful VR, where he prefered to spend his days learning architecture, physics, mechanics, and then building marvelous structures and hives. He built tons, and tons of virtual hives, in the name of his queen, countless ones, to statisfy his passion for the queen. He did this his whole VR-life, before he was abruptly disconnected from his VR. He was awoken by a sudden darkness, and a loud "Pssssh" of air escaping his pod. He stepped out of his pod, cold, naked, and slimey, blinking as his eyes were adjusting. He didn't like this. He didn't like this place, and he already missed his VR. He quickly turned around, only to find his pod closed again, with no ways of opening it. Defeated, he accepted this, and went out to go face his fate. It didn't take him long to realize that he would never be able to truly excercise his talent for the good of the queen. Crushed by the absence of his VR, and tools, he started working some small jobs on Biesel. He spent a few months there, with odd jobs, or jobs no one else really wanted to take, before he noticed a recruiting bureau from Nanotrasen. He did not hesitate long, visiting on the same day. He applied, boasting his skills and abilities, from a lifetime in VR engineering. Nanotrasen allowed him to work as a shaft miner, for bad pay. But Vohn still eagerly grabbed this chance with both insect-y hands, eager to get back to building and working. How would you rate your role-playing ability? About a 7, 7.5/10 maybe. I've been roleplaying for a long time, and roleplaying on SS13 for about 5 years now. Other than SS13, I've played other roleplaying games as well, and like playing pen and paper games as well. Notes: Thanks to The Stryker for giving me an idea for the background. (:
  11. Also, be careful while dissassembling CRTs. Dey dangerous.
