  1. If it was optional then sure, why not, give people the choice to do it. But if it is mandatory for all IPCs then I really don't like the idea. Not allowing IPCs to wear normal clothes would hurt a lot of IPC characters and how they convey their personalities, who they are and what they are all about imo.
  2. I can vouch for Robinkhaliq's skill in RP, I think they would make a good HoS. Micheal Raymond plays the role of detective very well. +1
  3. Randal is cool, I think he plays the role of bartender well. It is really nice when bartenders are easy and fun to talk to while having a drink.
  4. It is always nice to see Cassy on the station, I think her personality really works well! The interactions I have had with her as Andre Tedrow have always been fun and interesting.
  5. BYOND Key: Darkuodai90 Character Names: Isak Kreidler, Roland Skalecki, Karlo Pavkovic Species you are applying to play: IPC What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Exempt Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: In science fiction AI and robots are portrayed in many different ways, but more often than not they are antagonised in some way. On Aurora Station however, the opinions characters have on IPCs are very variable with some seeing them as equals and others treating them with hostility. This leads to a more unique experience with them in game, especially when you get to experience it from the perspective of the IPC. I find IPCs to be a much more interesting to play as compared to a cyborg for instance because they are much more versatile in the sense that they are not bound to the AI. This allows for them to act more like a member of the crew rather than a tool of the crew. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: The fact that IPCs exist is a subject of controversy in itself. Many say that they shouldn't even be allowed to exist while others welcome them into society with open arms. Unlike humans who make up the majority of the crew, IPCs are a minority that experiences prejudice regularly. I think it would be quite intresting to RP the reciving end of this prejudice. Another big difference is that IPCs do not have a culture of their own like humans do. This gives them the opportunity to develop an identity purely of their own which humans don't get. Character Name: Chuchi-6 Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Manufactured in 2449, Chuchi-6 is a Baseline IPC that was built to be used as kitchen assistant. He was quickly sold to a small restaurant in Hong Kong owned by an older couple as a way to attract customers and help keep up with demand during rush hour. Over time Chuchi-6 became well known to regulars and formed relationships with the staff and customers, even being known to provide entertainment from time to time. His friendly personality and exceptional culinary skill lead to him becoming accepted as more than just an IPC owned by a restaurant. While not everybody saw Chuchi-6 as an equal, many patrons would ask to see him and enjoy talking to him late into the night. The owners of the shop grew especially fond of Chuchi-6, treating him more and more like as if he was their son rather than an employee and allowed him some free time to go and see Hong Kong for himself. Up until this point Chuchi-6 had only ever known the kitchen and bar of the restaurant he worked in so seeing the outside world for the first time was a beautiful experience for him. Under the watchful eye of the owners of the shop, he developed a healthy intrest in visiting new places and meeting new people. They helped him better his people skills and develop a unique personality of his own. They even trusted him to make dishes of his own design and serve them to patrons, much to the benefit of their establishment. Eventually, the owners of the resurant decided that Chuchi-6 had become so much more than a robotic worker to them and in 2454 they gave him his freedom. Chuchi-6 was now allowed to leave Hong Kong and live a life of his own. He immediately decided that he wanted to cook all across the galaxy and show people the tastes of Earth and honor the people who had taught him how to be him in doing so. He lived to see people enjoy his food and wanted to give people everywhere the chance to try it, hoping that it made others happy. He initially travelled around Sol for a while, most notably cooking in Arianrhod City and Harmony City. In 2459 Chuchi-6 decided that he wanted to go somewhere far from home and decided that working on a space station would allow him to serve all kinds of people from all across the galaxy. He applied to work on the NSS Aurora as soon as he could. What do you like about this character? I really like that he has quite a 'wholesome' backstory. He holds a very positive and innocent outlook on the galaxy unlike many other characters who are jaded in comparison. His only goal is to provide a happy experience for those he serves and to learn new things along the way. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I have been roleplaying on multiple games for a while now so I think I would give myself six or seven out of ten. Notes: I have experience roleplaying as synthetic characters in games outside of SS13.
