How long have you been playing on Aurora?: I played it for almost a month a while ago, then my computer broke, now I am back, and have played for about a week or two.
Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?:A long time ago, I played on apoc/soap station, and there I learned how to do almost all the heads but the CE. I'd like to use what I've learned and put it back to use here though.
Why did you come to Aurora?: Because Soap died due to lack of community support, and so did ArchAngel, and I enjoy RP, and bay a lot.
Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yeah.
Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.
Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: I think that Roleplay should be about putting yourself in the role of the character you created. Its about simulating the life of your character, and what they know, and what their personality is like. In short, you are creating a chracter, kind of like a story, and playing them, with their own unique personality.
What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: I think, the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is to assist others in their department, and help fix ignorance. I also think that a purpose of a head of staff is to make sure his department is in line, and to be sure that everyone is working efficently. Some good examples would be, as a CMO, to give orders in great detail about what they are to do. Like telling a chemist exactly what they need to start making, telling two doctors to run reception, and guiding them along the course of the round to limit any failures.
What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:I think the OOC responsibility of a White listed player is to guide new players, to becoming better, such as helping a Apprentice, or intern learn the different ropes of the department you are the head of. I also think they are to set a good example for aspiring whitelisted players. So other non-whitelisted players look to others for support on how to soon become whitelisted.

Character name: Danny Holmes
Character age: 44
Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Danny is a big supporter of NT. he was hired on to NT, as a small time chemist to start, after he got a medical degree. After years of medical practice, he has learned just about what all the chemicals do, and how to use them. He also learned how to assist medical doctors when needed with different paitents. Other than medical, Danny likes to dabble in story writing!
What do you like about this character?: I like Danny, because of how much he cares about others. For example on a recent shift, after being told that the prisoners in a Rev+Cult round were infected with a sickness, and were dying. Security didn't care much for them, so they never told medical. It took one of the prisoners to tell medical, so danny came over with anti-toxins, and spaceacillin to try and help. Sadly, he was only able to save one of them, for almost all of them had sat there with toxins for a long time.
What do you dislike about this character?:
He can be Naive at times. Danny likes to think that almost everyone is good. In one round a chef was asking for a type of acid, for a dish. I knew it was in a dish, something with a Diona node in it, and he told him to get it approved with his head of staff. Medical wrote up a forum and, sent him on his way. He came back later, and said that none of the heads of staff cared about it, and woulden't see him about the form. he lied to me, and I gave him the chemical for the dish. I later found out he lied, when the captain came by later, asking if I gave him it, and said that she denied it.
What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: With age comes experience, Danny is 44, and has been with NT since being a young man. Over the years Danny has learned the different ropes of medical, and has also learned how to lead a group of people.

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: 8 - 8.5. While I have been roleplaying since age 11, I don't think I am absolutly the best at it. I have my own flaws in roleplaying, but I also feel that I am good enough to be qualifyed as a Head of Staff Whitelist!
