  1. Archaeological Dig-site in Southern Ras’nrr Robbed An archeological excavation in Southern Ras’nrr’s Kolmari cave has come to a grinding halt following an enormous theft of site findings. The excavation, led by local archeology professor Yasmah Tssareoiv, was digging for artifacts from a Gunpowder Age grave site. After an amateur cave explorer had found centuries-old guns within it Tssareoiv began her mission to find and locate historical items there. In the previous month, the site made headlines for its interesting findings. Presented in the building’s storage site Tssareoiv showed off items such as banners collected from across Ras’nrr’s kingdoms, several ornamental swords, a rock nomad skull cup, and the findings’ jewel of a preserved general who was buried in his regalia. During the presentation, Tssareoiv also shared her theory that the general was buried in an unmarked cave by his soldiers with the intention of later recovering him and his riches. But when the excavators returned to the dig site following a week-long break to visit families, the entire collection they excavated was gone. Due to its remote nature, the site was protected only by a pair of officers positioned at the beginning of the mountain road leading to Kolmari cave. Neither of the officers had noticed anyone arriving or leaving during their shifts. According to investigators, the storage building had its lock forced open but the site shows no other signs of disturbances. It is unknown how and why the theft occurred otherwise and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward. Tssareoiv has described the situation among her, her assisting students, and the hired excavators as heartbroken. The professor refuses to excavate further artifacts until the perpetrators are found and put to justice. For now, Kolmari cave will be cordoned off by officials, much to the dismay of Southern Ras’nrr’s growing caver community.
  2. 1. What is your current thoughts on parts of the setting where human and non-human lore cross over? Do you think there should be more? Less? What are the strenghs and weaknesses, in your eyes, of these crossovers? 2. What are your plans to advance the setting for the nations besides Sol? It obviously has gotten the most attention with active lore developments like with the article arc for San Colette, I am curious to know what you think other nations should be doing. 3. What is your thoughts on Off-worlders? Do you think they should be expanded, cut down, or removed?

  6. Are there any plans to integrate the Departmental or Lore discord into the main discord?
  7. I do think we ought to just merge the other discords into one. The sections of the lore discord can easily be added as sections on the main discord with lore devs making requests to admins (Or whoever has power to edit channels) as to how their section should look. The departmental discord I'll be honest and say we can probably just scrap entirely. Questions about how mechanics work can be relegated to serious discussion or the general in the main discord, perhaps create a help channel if needed. The relay I have no idea on, frankly. I would say right now to leave it as it is but cut out all OOC channels and voice channels except for the requests one. But if someone has a idea of how to integrate its IC channels into the singular discord, then go ahead.
  8. 1. Do you feel that in some cases, lore for a species needs to be curtailed or altered to better be consistent with a vision for aurora lore as a whole? If so, what's some lore from a species you feel needs to be changed? 2. Do you think you're able to stand your ground in the event that a lore writer takes massive issue against your rulings as lore master deputy, such as blocking a project they've been working on from being canonized? 3. Times change and so does lore, many species over the years have experienced retcons and rewrites. Some for the better, some for arguably the worse. While I do doubt that any large scale retcons or rewrites will happen again, how would you handle a species maintainer wanting to make major retcons for their species? 4. There's a sense that one day lore might be "done". No more planets to add, no more cities worth writing out, etc. Do you think we're anywhere near that for any species or factions? What's your feelings on the idea that more species may have to focus harder on event arcs or article arcs to really add anything? 5. How will you try to make lore more accessible for new players? 6. Are there any practices or ideas currently existing in lore or being done by the lorestaff you feel has to stop? 7. What are your thoughts on the idea of "antag lore", like the retconned Dominian vampire House Haradis or the Secret of Ouerea easter egg? 8. Just for fun, faction or culture has your favorite "feel" or aesthetic to it?
  9. Have any of your responses or views shared to answer these questions changed? If so, why?

  15. Democratic Revolution Day Spreads Across Stars and Frozen North As a new Democratic Revolution and Liberation Day dawns on the people of the Democratic Republic, since the Republic’s inception it has been celebrated fully on new worlds. The planets of Gakal’zaal and Himeo held large festivities this year for the first time. While Gakal’zaal previously had celebrated Democratic Revolution Day, the celebrations were kept small and to the homes of Tajara out of worry for Unathi violence from the Yizarus Brigade. The Tajaran Free Council were able to enjoy their first taste of Democratic Revolution Day and Liberation Day. The two holidays had small fairs held by different citizens of the FTC in opposite ends of their community so as to not cause any infighting. Some Free Assembly members and Adhomai Liberation Army officers were said to be in attendance. Gakal’zaal held celebrations for Democratic Revolution Day by hosting military parades, recruitment drives for the local Liberation Army, and a televised interview with the planet’s Rrhaza-Akhran Andranik Huwaytat. In a brief but informative clip screened to the colony’s televisions and read on all radio channels, Huwaytat reaffirmed his support to the Democratic Republic and the ALA that protects it. The Rrhaza-Akhran had ended his interview with two calls to action. One to any Tajara on Gakal’zaal to join the fight against banditry on the planet and another encouraging Tajara of Biesel and Adhomai to try their luck forging a new home on Gakal’zaal. Unfortunately, protests from the Unathi minority caused direct strife at the festivities. Reports of brawls, strike lines, and crowds of protestors clashing with celebrators have littered the otherwise enjoyable day. New S’th in particular endured enormous protests that resulted in its parade being canceled after a Unathi severely wounded a police officer with a sword before fleeing into the crowd. On Adhomai herself the North Pole saw a ship of Crevan revelers head to the Noghorr Base. The sailors there joined the tourists on their vessel to celebrate together in what the sailors described as a “critical morale improvement” for Liberation Navy activities there. Crevus has seen an important boost for its ailing economy with travelers coming to enjoy Democratic Revolution Day there. Southern Harr’masir has again seen another peaceful day for Liberation Day while Amohda’s Liberation Day was marked by Rrhaza-Akhran Rahman Hadjuk visiting the island’s PRA border to hold a celebration with his officers in full view of the Hadiist garrison there. Southern Ras’nrr’s cities held various expos on Tajaran history using new artifacts dug up from the region. A representative of Father K’rrirran was present in Trizar to congratulate archeologists on their findings. Das’nrra has again seen the worst of the political clashes in the capital, but spirits still remained high throughout the continent. President Harrlala and Supreme Commander Nated attended a military exercise done to demonstrate the Democratic Republic’s advancements in army technology before moving on to the customary gala in the Imperial Palace. Biesel’s Tajara community marked the day with street races held by local community organizers that were later broken up by the Biesel City police. It remains unknown if any festivities have occurred in Northern Ras’nrr or Din’akk.
