Unfortunately after much digging, two issues have cropped up.
I searched high, I searched low. Where my game is, I don't know. Man, my rhymes really blow. My sister borrowed the PS2 and some games for awhile when she initially went to college years ago, and though I thought all of it was repatriated, it seems I'm missing my copies of Xenosaga, Grand Theft Auto 3, and Metal Gear Solid 3. Which is a weird combination, but aight. Ultimately though, this may not have even mattered, since the disc tray on my console is jammed shut, and given the sorry state of my console, might be broken to begin with. Guess I gotta emulate D,:
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

@GreenBoi but whose boots will SolBoys lick?

@Scheveningen I thin the best aspect of our community is its creativity. We have a lot of people who really aren't afraid to let their minds run wild and think outside the box. It's pretty neat. I think the area that calls for the most improvement is forgiveness. There's a lot of people in the community who hate each others guts and I wish they could find common ground.
@Doxxmedearly Zhan can grow to be about six feet tall, but most tajara are in the five foot range. All typical heights for humans as well! I assure you, when I was in college the idea had not crossed my mind to eat my 5'2" landlord.
@ben10083 No, but I do wonder how they use toilets without their tails getting in the way. I won't be touching that lore with a 20ft pole, though.
@mwhit030 Christ Saves.
@GreenBoi It's a game called "Girl's Frontline" about these android women who are named after the guns they use and fight some generic other androids and mechs. Her name is Zastava M21! She was developed near the tail end of Yugoslavia, but by the time she was really introduced Serbia was independent. I don't think I'll be getting rid of ATLAS though. [EDIT: My background uses the Monogatari series. Her name is Shinobu, a 598 year old vampire from Frace.]

More news, less arcs, more small events.
Not sure how good of an idea this is. The event arcs have received a lot of positive impact, specially over the news and other things. While there are practical concerns, like the arcs being too high energy to run sustainably at a specific interval, I think we should continue to work with that formula instead.

Wew, this got a lot more feedback then I was expecting. I'm definitely of the variety that wants... well... a ton of variety. Though that process is being slowed down in the near future in favor of depth for what is already present, before possibly pursuing more variety.
I'm glad to hear that the shift away from complete NT-centrism is well received! I was actually really concerned about how well that would go over with everyone.

What is your favorite lore arc to date? Either event arc or news article arc, or both if you have a favorite in each category!

Agreed with Alb, the Sol Alliance invasion had hooks for every single character and clearly divided the crew as no one could tell what the future held. Not something that can be done very often due to the fact it was a military invasion.
Though I did like the mystique and mystery of the Tajara events as they also had events occur on regular rounds, giving people a flavor of the events even if they cannot attend the actual scheduled events.

Gun girls make the best anime avatars. I recommend Girl's Frontline for maximum expression of your love for guns... I mean anime girls.

A few weeks back I was at my store working when a customer told me he was tired. He told me that he was "the kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix." I told him I was too, and we went back and forth griping about our daily lives. At a certain point in the conversation, I leaned forward on my counter. Catching his attention, I said, "You know what I'll never get tired of though?"
"What?" He asked, genuinely interested.
"I'll never get tired of the great great deals here at [company name]." We both laughed, and by all audible appearances it was genuine laughter the likes of which people usually give bemusing and corny jokes. But I felt something shift, something changed. We both laughed but we were both worse off for the joke. Emotional trust and genuine expression of emotion was cheaply sold for a grimy advert. As if a lover stopped you in the middle of the night to advertise Cheeri-o's, as if a friend on their deathbed used their last words to shill for Ritz crackers. In a way, I felt like I sold my soul.- Show previous comments 3 more

@Lmwevil Its highly unusual, at least from my experience, for store employees to advertise or upsell anything at all. I'm a bit different in the sense that I'm very aggressive about encouraging customers to buy more. So like, it was a corny joke, but also genuine advertisement. I use a lot of rehearsed "advert-jokes" that paint myself as a greedy merchant trying to take their money. It usually catches them completely off guard and, surprisingly, works to get customers to buy more. My overall act that I put on is as a very bubbly, cheery and energetic fella, so I think the sudden cynicism gives them whiplash and effectively applies pressure, especially when they aren't regulars.

Light theme is the superior Forum Theme, and Discord theme, for that matter.

Glorsh is the protagonist of our setting.

Who would be better at Mario Party? Boleslaw, Jrugl, Not'Zar, or Miranda Trasen? How would they rank from first to fourth place?

I think it's at least fair to say Miranda would get the star for most coins, or at least would be most likely too. I do think a compelling argument is made for Not'zar though, I think he would probably top the minigames to get that star. The rest is pretty chance based, but I think the power ranking would go Trasen-Not'zar>Jrugl>Boleslaw.
