Sytic
See title. At the moment you can human shield somebody you've grabbed that is on the floor on a different tile against someone shooting you from a completely opposite direction. This is bullshit and skewed so many encounters as of recent. Link to comment
Fire and Glory
I would like to see something that can stop hostages from immediately hitting the deck when security is ready to go blam blam if this is changed. Link to comment
Bauser
Does aiming at someone cause you to fire if your target lies down? If not, that could be a good start. Link to comment
HouseOfSynth
I'd say the simplest way to do this is to make it so neck grabbing some one who is in the floor brings them on their feet to use as a shield. And make it so that a neck grab is needed for them to be recognised as a human shield and increasee the chances of them being hit instead of you Link to comment
Snoopy11
Synth's suggestion seems the more sounds one on this one, you go slow, when neck grabbing too. You're forcing another board around, in this case as a shield; you should be forcing them up. Link to comment
Sytic
I'm alright with Synth's suggestion, as it's not on the floor- it's bringing them up to you. At the moment, being able to human shield someone on the floor is misleading and stupid. Link to comment
Robinkhaliq
When you use disarm while aggressively grabbing someone, you push them to the floor. I think that you should still be able to do this with a neck grab, as being able to pin someone on the floor reduces their chance of escaping (I believe). Also, it's just cool in a lot of situations. While in this state, while the victim would have less chance of escaping, they should not function as a human shield. So that it trades off your protection for less chance of an escape. LordPwner
I can agree with this also Robinkhaliq makes a great point. You trade your security for their escape chance and vise versa. Its a good idea and it should be put in, in my opinion. Makes sense etc. Link to comment
Sebbe
Also pretty sure you help them to their feet if they are lying down in agressive + grab with help intent use of grab. Link to comment
