New Mining Item: Healthstim

The title says it all, an item in the mining rewards console. It'd be an autoinjector filled with 10u inaprovaline and 5u tricordrazine.

Essentially it'd be made to keep you alive longer in the situation where you would fall, or to keep the person you're rescuing alive longer. Something to help with general injuries, but mostly based in preserving.

All for adding new things to mining, and this doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to implement.


But as a note, can't miners already get a brute trauma kit as a purchase option?

 

They can. Which aren't actually useful in EVA since you can't use them through a voidsuit/rig. Unless you powergame like mad and take your rig/suit off for a sec to apply a brute kit.

you can already ask Medical to make you some autoinjectors. Or R&D to make some auto-healing implants (COUGH man-saver)


And like it was said, you can already buy brute patches. You shouldn't be falling in hole in the first place.

 

1. Implants don't work in hard/voidsuits.

2. The reason I want this is so it will be more accessable, and you won't have to rely on the chemist not being absent/UristMcBaldie

3. Brute patches are only useful once you're out of danger, because as said above, you can't apply them through a void or hardsuit.
