Please choose the form most relevant to the position you are interested in, and fill it out completely. Responses may take some time.

An account on Discord is mandatory for a position.

The rules and regulations which govern members of lore team can be found here: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Lore_Team_Rules_and_Regulations

These rules and regulations should be read before applying as they outline the team hierarchy, code of conduct, and various tutorials on how to perform the various jobs on lore team. Failure to read the rules will not excuse lore team members from punishment if they violate them.

Clarification of roles:

Lore Writer is responsible for playable species, which are as of posting Skrell, Unathi, Tajara, Dionaea,Vaurca, and IPC. This position has you manage species whitelists for and in general monitor the behavior and playstyle of the race in question. You also are responsible for wiki development for that species as well as semi-regular IC news posts. It comes with Web Interface whitelist access, wiki access, and access to our staff discord. This is a middle-management position if you have a deputy lore developer under you, so any form of management experience or ability to work in a team is great.

Deputy Lore Writers are assigned as deputies to the lore writer for a specific species. A deputy lore developer does not have access to Web Interface whitelist controls, but they will have access to the wiki editing controls as well as access to our staff discord. You answer to the lore writer above you, who in turn answers to the lore masters.

Wiki Maintainers handle updating the wiki. This includes adding new information, correcting outdated pages, and remove unnecessary ones. The team is to work closely with other staff teams, especially the dev team and lore team, but they are also supposed to work with the community. Applications are overseen by AllyBearsley who currently runs the Wiki Maintainer team as its manager. Wiki Maintainers have access to the staff chat and wiki.
