Welcome to Todifini, ‘The past dimension’. In the age where time was uncounted, civilization was small nomadic bands of horrid failures by the gods to create life to populate their world and bickering groups who refused to unite for the common good. And any attempt at banding together was shattered by the wandering titans and massive beasts created by the gods to keep their mistakes weak and divided. The ‘megabeasts’ were servants of the gods, but jealous and petty. From colossal mountain titans to feral minotaurs, each beast feuded with each other over petty things; From the land they claimed, to the artifacts they pilfered from nomad bands they destroyed.

Their true jealousy was not found until the gods created grand new beings - The dwarfs and gnomes, created by the goddess of industry and mining, the elves, created by the god of nature, the humans, blessed and formed by the god of ambition and will, and the goblins and orcs, rumoured to be dwarfs, humans and elves corrupted by the god of horror and strife. The beasts saw this as competition, and revolted against their masters. The war was long, locked in an eternal stalemate… Until a hero arrived, A dwarf named ‘Urist Nallimur’. His beast slaying was unmatched, his skin as strong as steel. The world's first adventurer, the beasts were driven away due to his martial skill. Weather in the unexplored deep wilds, or into deep caves where no adventurer could reach them.

This was 564 years ago, and Urist Nallimur slipped away, and was considered a god by some. Many more adventurers have tried and failed to reach Urists glory, and as the era turns from that of myth to that of rebirth of the menace - Perhaps new heroes will rise to keep the megabeasts from uniting again.
