Description:

While attempting to bypass a star system known to have pirates, the SCCV Horizon is interdicted out of FTL transit!

• The event will follow a medium-scale, pseudo-Odyssey format.
• There will be explicit tasks for departments, primarily Security, Engineering, and Operations. There are accomodation towards other departments to get involved (incl. Service), but they may be fleeting.
• Medium intensity combat (an easily overcome threat; moderate risk of injury/death) is to be expected but is not the sole focus of the event.

Horizon Characters do not know the information presented here, but an SCC Bulletin was posted warning of a recent pirate attack in the Weeping Stars region.
