While attempting to bypass a star system known to have pirates, the SCCV Horizon is interdicted out of FTL transit!
The event will follow a medium-scale, pseudo-Odyssey format.
There will be explicit tasks for departments, primarily Security, Engineering, and Operations. There are accomodation towards other departments to get involved (incl. Service), but they may be fleeting.
Medium intensity combat (an easily overcome threat; moderate risk of injury/death) is to be expected but is not the sole focus of the event.
Horizon Characters do not know the information presented here, but an SCC Bulletin was posted warning of a recent pirate attack in the Weeping Stars region.
