Heard the place needed more cowbell. No, but in all seriousness, I come to Exodus because it's the only layout I have fully memorized, it's the first ship I ever roleplayed on when I first joined a year or two ago, and to top it all off, this server is really fun. This is also the first forum for a server I've ever joined. Figured I'd give whitelisting a try whenever the time came, rather than joining servers where there are freebie aliens and such. Plus, I'm already used to forum stuff, as I reside on several RP Forums. All in all, I hope my time here is a pleasant one. ;D

Hi guys! Didn't know where else to put this but here. Anyway, I tend to go by "CyanideSuicide" around the web now, but my old BYOND key is "Darknal". I have been roleplaying at SS13 for at least a year now, and the NSS Exodus has always been one of my favorite spots. I believe I've roleplayed on Aurora before, but in my hiatus it seems the server has gone through a change. Lost any characters I had, but this is good because I felt like starting over anyway. xD So far I love being back. Thought of an interesting backstory for my first character, Theron Helix. Being a Security Officer, Theron was involved in an "industrial accident" while chasing a suspected criminal through a mining colony. The accident destroyed most of his organic body, specifically the left side. His legs have been totally replaced with mechanical ones, along with his left arm. His right arm is mostly intact, however it is mechanical from the forearm down. The accident also left his eyes and heart in severe condition, leading to cybernetic replacements for those as well. A very basic short bio, but I do like the idea behind it. What do you guys think? I'm also interested in perhaps getting white-listed at some point, for the Dionaea. Not right now, of course. I have to get used to roleplaying on SS13 again, and I'm still new to the server. But I have roleplayed different species on different servers before, and the Dionaea are by far my favorite. I just love how they're a colony(-like?) gestalt of plant-like organisms, a collective intelligence that speaks not only as one, but also as all. Reminds me of the Flood from the Halo series, especially the Gravemind. I believe my main Dionaea was known as "Culmination-of-Knowledge", typically utilizing jobs involving science. You know, 'cause knowledge. Funnily enough, after finishing Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday, Groot's presence got me nostalgic on the Dionaea. Anywho, there's my intro.
