I have read the lore section
Because I have a selection of characters for different roles, and my engineering character is Unathi.
It gives a variety of different casual emotes, such as 'twitches tail' or 'licks the air' and other such things. The way of speech is quite different, with them being shorter, more blunt speech, and occasional misusing of verbs or adjectives.
Ick'thar Bleck
An Unathi, tragically abandoned at birth, and raised by a human couple, the first thing many note about him is that his hissing seems slightly restrained, almost like he attempts not to do it. this returns in full force when he gets worried, however, which happens often as he is quite a flighty and paranoid individual. He will always flee as opposed to fight when it comes to combat, and is skittish and quiet when speaking to those he doesn't know.
Having only learned engineering from trial and error, and a few books he found as a Hatchling, he has no knowledge of singularity reactors, or SuperMatter, but can do a decent job at basic metalwork and solar panel wiring, something he is particularly fond of, as he has an affinity for Zero-g work.
It's fun for me to play Ickthar, since most of my other characters are quite bold, some being rather rude, so it's a refreshing change to play a coward for once, it's also interesting when other Unathi interact with him, as they often take issue with his meek behaviour, which can lead to fun interactions.
I'd say I'm about an 8/10 at roleplaying, I do it a lot, but I try not to be too serious, and enjoy it.
