Absolutely beautiful story. Had me well entertained the whole way through. The humor, the intensity, the action, the whole thing was awesome. Sometimes I wish we could make comics of stories like these.

I've actually lingered around research a couple times! Not sure if I've seen you particularly, but possibly! I've been trying to do the beginner jobs (Engineer Apprentice, Research Assistant, Nursing Intern) to see how the station works and what not.

Oh no I completely understand you there. It seems like they test your temper sometimes. You'll occasionally have someone hop in the server and just practically break every rule that's even been written. We would sit them somewhere OOC (usually on top of a roof) and have to ask them why they're choosing to ignore the rules, asking if they read and understand the rules and try to show them how to properly play on the server without breaking the rules and teach them a little bit of role play. Sometimes this message actually got through and it made me feel proud, like I just taught a kid how to ride a bike. But then you get the trolls/griefers...): These guys are a nonstop force practically, there's no speaking sense into them, there's no trying to get them to follow rules or to do anything positive in the server. They just want to annoy you such as after you explain the rules and what they did wrong they go right back and do the same thing, after a couple earnings you give them their warning kick, and they automatically rejoin to do the same thing. I don't understand. I never lost my cool though, I found it slightly humorous, how hard these people tried to cause players/staff grief for no reason. That's how it was on my two servers anyway. And then once they got their ban which was coming to them, they would hop on the forums and post an admin complaint and totally try to change the story :/ shame And that was the last time I was an admin, though I didn't hate being an admin. It was nice at least trying to help people learn how to play the game the right way. And also nice trying to help those who do play it right from getting their fun ruined by those who don't. I guess I'm ranting, sorry. Overall, all I'm trying to say is yes I understand how you feel about HL2RP griefers as well, but I did enjoy being an admin, no matter the amount of stress specific players tried to put on me. I felt like I was doing something good when keeping others from ruining the fun of the server.

Which communities if you don't mind me asking? Did some garrysmod RP a few years ago, interested if I'd recognize the names. Oh yeah, the first was Incursion Gaming (which turned into Polaris Gaming), and then after that one died a couple of us went to make a server called TG Gaming, I think it was...Or the T stood for something and the G was gaming...It was back in around 2013 -ish.

Hey, it's Quacky_J, I'm new to the community but totally digging it. I've met a couple cool cats and enjoyed roleplaying and some OOC conversation with them. I've been playing SS13 since Jan 4, 2014 (It was the first BYOND game I've ever played). I came from a different community which is dying out. Although my former community was little to no RP I still have a lot of RP experience. I used to play Clockwork Half Life 2: Roleplay on Garry's Mod. I played that for a good year or 2 in the past and it really increased my roleplaying skills. I used to be an admin on 2 of the HL2RP communities before they also died out. Aside from roleplaying, a couple of my favorite games are Space Station 13, Team Fortress 2, Rainbow Six: Sige, and Starbound. I love shooters, RPGs, Indie, whatever. I enjoy playing games. Aside from gaming all together however, I love to play basketball, among other sports. I'm currently working on becoming an EMT to move on to be a firefighter. I'm very social and love to make jokes (hence if you've ever met my Aurora character, he chuckles or laughs most of the time he says anything, it's me reflecting myself into the character). So that's who I am and a little about me. Glad to be joining the community, and thanks for reading!
