I understand the rules I broke, as I said in my post, and I agree with the punishment, I suppose my problem is that I wanted to make it clear that this wouldn't have happened if not for the miss-click. Once it happened, I mostly just acted in haste, and then it just kind of snow-balled. Were it not for the miss-click, I would've have played detective fine, because that wasn't the issue. The issue was that a miss-click happened and I didn't immediately ahelp it is all. I am sorry for being an asshole in the ahelp, my OOC patience was just a little low at that time, so I took your statement as "well then I'm just gonna ban you", and not a genuine just "take a breather and we can talk about it when you want to". Thanks for taking the time to deal with this, and I'd really appreciate an unban. I'll do better if unbanned.

BYOND Key: Mirukihoshi. Total Ban Length: Permanent. Banning staff member's Key: Cnaym. Reason of Ban: (I am a girl, by the way.) Reason for Appeal: I'll just explain everything that happened from the beginning, and then explain why I should be unbanned. So, the shift starts out, and I decided to play Detective. I look around for my office for a bit, since I don't play here too often, and when I find it, I gear up, and start walking around. While looking through Maintenance to find a better coat (my character thought the Detectives coat was ugly), I overhear some guy continuously complaining about his goat, but I ignore it for now. Eventually, I find a leather coat, and decide that's good enough, and go back to the brig. There, I see someone dragging a goat to the evidence room for one reason or another, and I tail him. As a joke, my character asks the officer to wait, and then I have her aim her revolver at the goat (which is as far as I had intended to go). I think I even had her say that she wasn't going to do it, but I can't remember if I did or not. Anyway, before I continue, I wanted to say that the mouse I own is a ten dollar, cheap-ass logitech knock-off I got from walmart, and my keyboard can be a bit finicky as well. So, as I begin to type something, WHILE I type, somehow, I end up having my character accidentally shoot the goat, to the officer's displeasure. Now, let me reiterate, I had no intention of doing this OOC, nor was my hand even near the mouse, as I was trying to type something. It was completely, unabashedly some sort of glitch, and at the time, I didn't think to say something LOOC (nor do I think it would've mattered if I did or not). The officer then asks me to hand over my gun, to which my character breaks into a run, because IC, she really didn't mean to do anything. A chase ensues, and at one point, I have my character shoot one of the people chasing her, because I had assumed the bullets were rubber, since most other servers start the Detectives gun with simply rubbers. I didn't question it before that because I had assumed that rubbers killed simple mobs either way. Eventually, she was caught by an officer, I have her explain her "mistake", and then I ghost, because honestly? I was not (and am still not, to an extent), in the mood to deal with all this shit. Without seeming like I'm attempting a guilt-trip, I came on here to just have a good time, since things could be going better in my life right now, so being banned for something I had no control over is just extremely frustrating. During the ahelps, I know I most likely came off as short, but that was because as I have mentioned, I was not in the mood. I did, however, properly explain the situation, but for some reason, I never got a response from the admin? I even had to message him again before he responded, and when he did, he only responded with "If you are not in the mood, you can explain on the forums", which just completely ignored that I had ALREADY explained to him my situation, and just confused, and further frustrated me. So, I told him to "Go fuck himself", and exited. Realizing that was probably a bit too harsh, I got back on, and sent a couple ahelps, indicating that I wanted to try and fix my mistake, but those got no responses, and I was banned. I realize my actions after the glitch were unwarranted, and were more of a mistake on my part, but those things wouldn't have happened had my mouse or keyboard not fucked up on me. I'm pretty sure I have no prior record on this server, so it frustrates me and confuses me that I was perma-banned for my first "offense". All-in-all, I'm just tired, and I want to get this over with. I also would appreciate if I wasn't further mocked or berated in any future bans, as "saying go fuck yourself was an interesting attempt, but it won't result in a warning or a note only" is kind of a dick move, and it helps no-one. I also am unaware if the round is still going or not, so I'm sorry if this is posted while it's still going.
