Since i was not provided an explanation on a technical level i must guess what might could have been the issue on my side.
IP: Maybe my IP looks similar to those other accounts.
Maybe an internet service provider in a different country assigned a similar IP to their customers.
Although i find any of this to be HIGHLY unlikely, unless were talking about a really shady ISP in a country where laws and standards are not taken very seriously.
MAC: I am playing on a used device which i purchased off the internet.
Maybe the previous user had or has BYOND accounts associated to this MAC. I also think this is very unlikely, unless somebody spoofed their MAC to match mine.
Network: I am currently living in a dorm so my Network could be possibly compromised. It could be possibly someone with access to the Network could have played SS13 at some point though I am not aware of anyone here playing it.
I have never played on this server as just installed SS13 today and have never played it in the past. This is the second server I joined, as this was the second one I was recommended to.
Please investigate my case and unban me.
Should you not decide to unban me, then please provide an explanation also on a technical level, so i at least know how this might could have happend on my side, if that really should be the case.
