I think the problem was that with the character, I exclusively played him as a visitor to the station up until the incident at hand. So I am thinking that when this was the first time I switched to an actual occupation, I didn't really make the full transition of understanding just how differently one is treated as an employee rather than a visitor - not being under as strict guidelines. In light of these explanations, the action (ban) I guess does make sense to a degree. However, I agree with eab549 and nursiekitty and think it would have made more sense and would be "cooler" if he underwent an investigation by the IAA - where there is a meeting set up and his possible job continuation is discussed. But I understand that we all have lives and that may be asking to much RP wise. In regards to the warning, I hadn't played ss13 for quite some time before I started again that week, and I really just forgot that there was even an antag that was a space wizard. So when I say that I was making an off-handed quip about something outrageous existing, even from an IC point of view, I meant it. I didn't remember the antags existence until it "poofed" into the bar and I was spoken to by the moderator. So it really was an innocent mistake, and I would still appreciate a consideration of the removal of the warning. In conclusion, a thank you to everyone for taking the time to look into this and help me understand, while letting me give my explanations too. I still hope you all would consider my request about the warning.

Thank you for the help Sharp. As this is now under Staff Complaints, I just wanted to be clear, I am not aggressing Tomiix. I am sure Tomiix is a great moderator. I just dispute the aforementioned judgements passed.

My apologies, I was under the impression that an Unban Request was just an appeal about a ban in general. Where then does one go for instances of believed unreasonable proscription and the repeal thereof? Thank you.

Reason for Appeal: (State your reason for why you think you should be unbanned) To start I realize it is a 1 day ban and you will just ignore it anyways because it isn't that big of a deal. But I am responding because I feel that there needs to be clarification and that my character was mischaracterized. I also would like the warning and ban removed from my record (if it is possible) because I believe it was misguided and all the facts were not taken into account. But it is your call of course. Yes I play as a usually drunk russian character for fun. However, I did not 1) irradiated myself nor 2) cause a power delay that required security to respond. 1) The picture attached shows how I am at 100 health not irradiated. 2) In addition with regards to the engine, the first thing I did was get my gear, my cigs, and fill up my flask at the bar (and drank it), and came back to set up the engine, but had to be afk for a phone call. When I got back I was informed nobody knew how to set up the engine, so I proceed to do so by gathering the phoron tanks. Also a CE just arrived to to help out - so that was nice. Was I drunk? Yes, but I was doing the job that the others didn't know how to do before the CE came. We just got the tanks in place when security arrived to take me to the brig for detoxification (sit me in a chair to sober up), which was fine, I didn't resist or anything and even walked there myself along with the security, proof being I was allowed to be there with all my gear and without restraints (picture). So the security did not respond to a power delay caused by me. It was more like, "hey lets just get that guy sobered up." 3) I don't play a psychotic drunk or a psychotic character in general because that is how you get banned. I play a character that usually is a visitor or assistant with an issue with heavy drinking. Completely harmless. And a character that does care for his well-being, isn't suicidal nor actively hurts himself, he just has a drinking addiction. 4) The character's records are written by me for the purpose of adding intrigue: :::Criminal Record::: Minor infractions: Stealing Disorderly Conduct Assaults (Non-fatal) Investigations: Possible links to Gorlex Marauders and Cybersun Industries. *Leads came up null. Would he have been fired? I disagree, because he was cleared to be hired in the first place and I've cleared his IC record with an admin before. Being an engineer or miner is a rough and dirty job, and my character is a rough and dirty character. In regards to re-writing my character that I've played for a while and never had any issues, I believe this is unduly asked. In regards to the Warning, in the beginning of the round when someone was saying a bunch of stuff about a wizard federation over comms, and everyone else was talking about a wizard federation, I just thought some loony was on the comms. So I said in a sarcastically joking manner piggybacking off the comms "goddamn space wizards", because I was putting together the comm talk about wizards and the fact we are in space, so I just made a funny statement that is outrageous and that nobody believes, not even my character - it was just an off-handed quip from a drunkard. Immediately I am spoken to by the moderator and given a warning for metagaming. When I didn't even know the actual antag was a wizard that round and was just joking about the existence of something outrageous ICly in regards to some funny talk on the comms. So, I believe the warning was unwarranted too. In closing, with these facts laid out and the picture complete, I believe the explanations acquittal Yakkov, clarify the situation/correct some accusations, and show there was a logical answer to all the issues raised by the moderator. This whole thing I believe is just a culmination of miscommunication and lack of all the facts behind the judgement leveled. Thank you for your time.

Well, obviously I missed that announcement. And in regards to the notes, both of those issues was with a friend I know irl. So, no hard feelings were exchanged. lol But, you do you, I guess.

Some crazy lady was screaming the whole ride back, so I got up from my seat and slapped her, then went back to my seat. It is not like I went on a killing spree.
