Why do you wish to play this species? - At first launch of rurora, even before opening wiki, while creating char i saw this strange Vaurca guys in species list. Choosed 'em, picked up first one that i saw and- Holy shit, it was giant moff or somethin'! I never liked skrells, unathi, tajara, and other xenos for being that much human-like - mechanically, visually and in terms of lore, on other builds, and this moff guy looked... Well, at least not as humanoid. Later I found out that they can only be consulars, and that other bugs didn't get that far from resprites. But at that time i had already read half the lore and became known as the only bug player on rurora. And i really liked this concept of escapists from a doomed world. So, yep. I like how do they look like and their lore. What makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a human?: - They can't speak, lol. Theyre using special voice modulators for that. That means, that they're may dont know specific hard words, won't understand most humor and phraseologisms. Also they're very loyal to their Tas. Like, really. They also have a lot of modifications to their bodies. Theyre psychic works differently depending on their caste, i.e. worker wont fight, unlike warrior. Viax are about lobotomite RP and serving other bugs. They know that they won't die. After death they'll be installed in VR and will have infinite life in heaven, if eepy Xeru won't eat 'em. ------------------------------ Character Application Character Name: Ta'Akaix'Isk'Zhuk'Urg C'thur Write a backstory for your character. This may include their origin, education, personality and how they arrived to the SCCV Horizon. Isk is only 14 years old Ta, that has been born after first contact with Nralakk Federation. She comes from Mouv brood, and her rank is diplomat. She always preferred humans more than skrells, it was easier for her working with creatures with not that long lifespan, and Isk have worked at hive's diplomatic missions in Eridani almost all her life. Sadly, after tragic death of Ta'Akaix'Kel'Zust'Reh C'thur she was forced to work at Horizon for some time. That's not the best workplace for her, but she will work here if Queen Mouv wants her to be here. In the free time she is working on keeping the good relations with Nralakk Federation, in which, however, he does not achieve much success, given that he hardly ever goes there, and mostly resides on the territory of the corporate federation or, more recently, aboard the Horizon. Isk is highly interested in everything, that's happening in Eridani Federation, and have tried to turn each change in favor of C'thur hive. Now she can just monitor changes, without abbility to do something about them. She's looking optimistic at situation with phoron crisis, believing that the Nralakk Federation would be forced to spend more and more resources searching for the phoron, which would probably lead to them allowing the Hive to use vessels with ftl engines to search, going deeper and deeper into space. Young Ta is also very interested in yet unclear situation in K'lax hive. How does your character view the megacorporation they work for? Independent faction lol. Anyways, she don't really like stellar conglomerate, more preferring working with Einstein Engines, and not the big fan of working on their vessel. However, she, of course, doesn't talk about that publically.
