As for the last part, I think I should create characters that only exist as antagonists, and characters that only exist as non-antagonists. That way they can breathe a little and I can break into the social cliques that exist on Aurora through regular, consistent play.

I've been reading the Wiki pages for antagonist play, and the guides on this forum. The primary issue seems to be coming up with a solid gimmick that isn't "Himeo Syndicalist Revolutionary, yeehaw," and disconnecting regularly because I have outside obligations that interrupt my play (also I've been warned that repeatedly trying to escape or "resist spam" isn't allowed, so once I'm wrecked and in MedBay I don't really know where to go from there, which was the last issue that led to my antagonist ban). I'm definitely not a ganker, and rarely kill players during my antagonist runs, mostly because I'm still incompetent at the combat mechanics. I try to create new situations for people to interact with, and not necessarily to just complete my objectives etc. I think continuing to play antagonist roles and garnering more experience is the only way to resolve these issues of "poor antagonist play." And always sending an ahelp before disconnecting, and genuinely having a good reason for it. I've been enjoying this server, and would like to continue to play on it. Thanks.
