I have decided to make a little topic about the importance of cryogenic storage. As most know, it is in the dormitories and is a vital part of keeping the population count low. At 9:30 PM EST, we had a round where there were 54 players online, and the IC population count was 86 people. Literally no jobs were open, and only five people used cryo, with another four dying. All in all, there were around 25 SSDs laying on the ground in random places; some in the dorms, some in medical, some in the hallways, and at least five in engineering. While I know I can't really do anything, I just want to remind people that, if they know that they cannot come back in the next hour and a half, it is probably a better idea to use cryo then go SSD, especially during the busy times.
I just want to remind people that we have that. I have joined countless times only to find that I cannot be an engineer, but only an assistant, and all of the engineers are SSD for the remainder of the round.
Also, there are very few admins online at these times. There were referential names, and griefers that came on. Stalker was the only mod on by the end of the round, and they were only trial. He got 7 adminhelps at once, and had to deal with him all, according to him on the TS. There were also a lot of names that referenced popular culture, or were just stupid, and he was unable to change the names, so we had to deal with names like Peter Longdongski, Sammy Hujsak, and AradiaBOT. These were reported, but nothing could be done.

Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: Perma-Banned from New Eden Station for welderbombing during a revolution round to get a rev head out of security. Ban has since been removed after appeal.
Personality
Why do you play SS13?: Usually to have fun after a day's work at school, and it is a really fun game.
Why do you play on Aurora?: The Aurora is a fantastic server with nice administration and a fantastic player base that is often willing to help.
What do moderators do?: Moderators are mainly responsible for assisting new players with mechanics, as well as helping administrators deal with the occasional griefer.
What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: Help players understand game mechanics, deal with problems that may arise during rounds, and assist administrators, as well as allowing players to have a good time.
Why do you want to be a moderator?: I have been helped by the server staff on this station for a while, and they have made the game fun for me. I hope to be able to do the same for another player.
What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I would like to get information and fully understand a situation before making a decision, and I am good at micro-management.
How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I am constantly stressed and insulted at work by customers and managers. However, I am able to overcome that quite easily.

What do moderators do?: Monitor the behaviors and actions of people, and decide if the action is acceptable and good roleplay.
What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: Help new players understand the mechanics of the game, as well as ensure that players are abiding by the rules set by server administrators.
Why do you want to be a moderator?: I feel I have gained a plethora of knowledge and understanding, and wish to help others have the same fun experiences I have enjoyed on the Aurora.
