So i dont know how to label this but heres a bunch of ideas. Rn Eguns like distruptors use the same amount of power for lethal and non-lethal modes. This does not make sense. You DONT want to dump "lethal" amount of power into your target. So non-lethal modes should have more shots. Lasgun modes. High focus: low damage and higher organ damage, high AP; Mid focus: mid damage, mid AP; Low focus: high damage and pain, no AP Changing the combat laser rifle with: buffing normal mode damage to 40, reducing normal AP to 10. Keep the AP mode with 20 damage and 50 AP. Laser shotgun: add a second firemode that's called focused, effectivelly a laser SLUG. 60 fire damage, 30 AP, 15 shots. Nerf X-ray rifle because its TOO GOOD. 15 damage, 50 AP, 40 shots. costs 12 TC and has SO MANY MORE SHOTS THAN OTHER LASGUNS. And despite being X-ray laser rifle it doesn't cause radiation, according to wiki. Laser pistols. Yes. Laser Pistols. It should be an alternative as a lethal pistol compared to the .45 pistol. Blaster ammo. Switchable ammo cartridges. Heavy gas for AP, medium gas for body harm, light gas for bremsstrahlung EMP/radiation effects. Exotic gas for special effects. Ion pistol. Yes Ion pistol. Ion rifle firemode: low power EMP. A very targeted low splash/power EMP that doubles the shots you have. Energy rifle for security. Either 1 E rifle+2 las rifles or 1 las rifle 1 E rifle. Because laser rifle is ONLY LETHAL and there is no other longarm energy non-lethal. Particle shotgun. Shoots a lot of particles(brute) that act as buckshot. Only needs energy to shoot. Thanks to the bore mag-choke the patricles all hit in a 3"(7.62cm) diameter circle untill 312 meters away aka all damage hits selected limb. Automatic fire mode for the laser weapons. OR dual pulse fire. Double cooldown, double shot per click. Switchable power cells and/or power magazines. Igniting people with laser guns. Igniting cigarettes with laser guns. Using the lasgun as a laser pointer. Stealth laser weapons. Hear me out infra-red laser rifle(you cant see beams unless some species) that doesn't play a sound/notification when it fires. Laser welding tool. A rare alternative to the common fuel welder. Surprisingly safe for eyes.

Wait armor actually stops bullets here? How does it even work?
-
My issue with the armor is: Heavy corporate is best in every scenario. (Picture included) Unknown enemy? It has 55% ballistic protection(vs60% ballistic), has 50% melee defence(vs riot 70%), has 40 laser defence (15 less than ablative), 25 energy defence (15 less than ablative) AND has same bomb protection as ballistic. WHY use any other armor if you get universal protection that is MUCH more usable than specialised protection? In comparison to heavy corporate armor ablative pro: moderately better against laser and energy compared to heavy corporate ablative con: no explosion protection, no ballistic protection, no melee protection In comparison to heavy corporate armor ballistic pro: BARELY better ballistic protection ballistic con: worse laser protection, NO energy protection, NO melee protection In comparison to heavy corporate armor Riot pro: 70% melee defence vs 50% Riot con: NO bullet protection, NO laser protection, NO energy protection(stunbaton protection btw), NO bomb protection. The buff suggestion is: Buff ablative armor Laser and Energy protection by 30% so its 85% laser and 70% energy Buff ballistic armor Ballistic and Bomb protection by 25% so its 85% ballistic and 55% bomb Buff riot armor protection by 10% in Melee and add 50% energy protection so its 80% melee and 50% energy protection(so you can't get easily stunbatoned in riot gear).

Show a person's blood type in medical records. Rn you need to print it to see the blood type. Why do you need to print that if you have medical records app?
-
Quite simple really. They are creatures of the dark so give them default weak night-vision so they can still know where it is dark or not.

Sadly a mask won't save you from getting locked inside of a vacuumed room, which is why I am suggesting this thing in the first place. There are simply too many spots where you are gonna die/get severely wounded from vacuum. I had an unfortunate occurrence happen and died in a vacuum because the O2 locker was out of my sight and I didn't know it even existed(why tf is it in a corner where no one goes). Also from IC perspective it makes sense I guess to have safety measures like that. Although medical and dining hall getting vacuumed instantly due to their design is not great. Like WHY medical third deck is designed to have a huge hole in the floor? Put damn glass or safety nets there ffs. And that hole eats up a ton of space that could be used for something else. And it's a safety issue! Third deck main room losesing atmosphere means that the corridor to ORs and GTR get vacuumed too.
-
Idk asteroids or people. Builders for whatever reason wear hardhats to protect themselves. Otherwise this is a great improvement of safety of the Horizon. Also half the medical got vacuumed by 1 bomb and i also died because the O2 closet was out of reach.

There MUST be an O2 locker within your screen if you are near a potential vacuum zone. If it's too far you are INCREASINGLY GOING TO DIE. There are WAY WAY too many spots where you have a window straight to space but no O2 locker near or in the room in case it breaks. Here are the areas where there is no O2 locker within screen space and there is a high risk of decompression(such as, for example windows to space). Oh god this list will be long. Total needed: 69 O2 Wall/Floor lockers [First deck] Cargo hangar top area left and right(2 lockers needed) That big shuttle hangar right bottom corner(needs 1 locker) Bottom hydroponics(1 locker needed) Research xenoarchaeology zone top(1 needed) Secure artifact storage(1 needed) Atmospherics turbine(1 needed) Atmospherics control left side, middle near gas tanks, gas storage top, gas storage bottom(4 needed). Atmospherics control entrance(stairwell) near window(1 needed) [Second deck] Grauwolf weapon bay (1 needed) Deck 2 Starboard Docks right side(1 needed) Chaplains office (1 needed) Bar top, bottom (2 needed) Bar - Private Lounge (1 needed) Dining hall in every corner (4 needed) Kitchen top and bottom (2 needed) Freezer (1 needed) Hydroponics second deck left and right (2 needed) Prison bottom( 1 needed) Xenobotany left and right (2 needed) Research Director's Office (1 needed) Engineering Hallway(with lots of pumps and scrubbers) bottom (1 needed) Supermatter Reactor bottom right and left (2 needed) [Third deck] Deck 3 Starboard Lounge 1 locker per room (3 needed) Representative Office Bravo (1 needed) Executive Officer's Office middle (1 needed) Conference room top and bottom (2 needed) Bridge middle left and right (2 needed) Bridge break room (1 needed) Captains office top (1 needed) Human Resources Meeting Room (1 needed) Journalist's Office(1 needed) Longbow weapon bay (1 needed) Security gun range left (1 needed) Security briefing room (1 needed) Forensic laboratory (1 needed) Autopsy lab (1 needed) Evidence storage (1 needed) Engineering meeting room top left, right and middle bottom (3 needed) Shield generator (1 needed) Third deck medical equipment room (1 needed) Third deck medical break room (1 needed) CMO office (1 needed) Recovery (1 needed) Deck 3 medical bottom, (connected to it) deck 2 hallway near morgue(near substation door), near emergency shutters leading to GTR. GTR (cuz it also vents). (4 needed) holy crap medical is unsafe Deck 3 operations bay (1 needed) Area near deck 3 medical door, deck 3 operations and deck 3 lounge starboard lounge, top left right and bottom (3 needed)

Very reasonable suggestion. Add energy weapon "magazines". Because it does not make sense for a laser [GUN] or Energy [GUN] to not have a detachable power cell. Why bring a lasgun into battle/patrol/carry if it's mag can't be refilled while you're fighting? Of course a power cell for a laser rifle is bigger than a ballistic rifle magazine so some drawbacks for the energy weapons still exist. But ballistic pistols (I hope) have tiny mags so an E mag for a Egun is still bigger.

Why is there advanced, burn, oxygen, toxin and COMMON medkits in med? Please replace common medkits with trauma medkits. It would make more sense for medical to have those.

Take a selfie. Record HoS flirting with a tajara. Make a photo of a guy shooting you. Share findings privately via messenger. Post headless body of a HoS into a public chat. Very simple function for a modern device.

BYOND Ckey: Secretsecretdreams Discord username: bots Character names: Alek Johanson PMCG pharmacist, Joar Vasilyev PMCG Security cadet Species you are applying to play: IPC ------------------------------ General Whitelist Requirements What colour do you plan on making your first alien character?: IPC but #574a4a Have you read the lore pages for the species you wish to be whitelisted for?: yes Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this species? I have tried playing as different species on different servers, and thus, I am interested in trying to play as an IPC on this server. I really enjoyed roleplaying as different species and how everything turned out. I like how wide the options are for players allowing you to not only be a human alcoholic human war veteran cripple but also a non-human alcoholic non-human war veteran cripple. Personally, for me, it's both the mechanics and the vibe. Roleplaying as a machine with "feelings" is more interesting for me than to just go human number 9e10th time. For mechanics, I like that IPCs don't need food, just pure power. All of them can be built different or the same. The impersonation shell part has easily attracted my attention from a lore perspective. Or a forklift called D.A.I.S.Y. that's making you a coffee. What makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a human?: For me, I like how your worldviews can be really different from everyone else. Humans and most other creatures grow up in 18 years, learn things, and build their personalities in a long and complicated way that gives you depth by default. But as an IPC you can create a personality that has been shaped by the outside influences much more than everyone else's. You can just not understand a joke or a more nuanced question. I really liked this option since you can do a lot with it. Assuming you decide to ask what's an updog as an IPC or you get asked about a philosophical question. Additionally, self-preservation is not only from the standpoint of getting hurt is bad but also because getting damaged costs a lot to repair. And you still have to pay for maintenance and electricity. I also like the owned not owned part since it's quite a lot of roleplay opportunities. ------------------------------ Character Application Character Name: Z.I. GYURZA 19RAF Write a backstory for your character. This may include their origin, education, personality and how they arrived to the SCCV Horizon. GYURZA series is a new Zeng-hu licensed frame produced and modified completely by Zavodskoi Interstellar facilities. It is a relatively new model, only starting development and entering production on 2460-02-18 and 2465-01-01 respectively. The RAF stands for Recon Advanced First batch, a comparatively more complex modification of a standard GYURZA model and a qualitative improvement for the first 20 frames. GYURZA 19RAF was manufactured on 2465-01-02 behind the closed doors of the Zavodskoi secret facility and spent its first weeks training in simulations against non-standard situations. Number 19, as one of the earliest production models received some of the best attention, software, and equipment to enact the optimal warfare tactics. Whilst it was spending most of its time either training or in maintenance, it managed to converse with the technicians and its human allies. As a result of this, it has created a somewhat positive, flattering personality for itself that would be a good fit for a corporate scene. Due to GYURZA being a newly developed unit type, it has been spotted getting often deployed into hotspots or locations with intense criminal activity. 19 has been actively deployed mainly in 2 locations during its service Valkyrie and the Human Frontier. During its first deployments, it has developed a habit of double-tapping. This was mimicked after observing experienced soldiers do it, mostly before approaching corpses or following commands from their captains. After the first few moments with the ground forces, 19's behavior algorithms changed to resemble the common infantryman in order to fight more effectively. Over the few days, the way it spoke also started to resemble that of an infantryman, not wasting words and being more direct since delays might mean death. It also started to prefer long-range combat instead of close fights due to how many resources were lost in them, sometimes even getting itself damaged and requiring repairs, which disappointed its commanding officers. After the GYURZA type proved itself, especially so for the RAF batch, 19 was sent to a more calm job on Valkyrie, providing assistance with maintaining the security around the Valkyrie-based Mach-Rassvet Research Anchorage. From there it started to learn about the complicated human culture and proper ways to present itself. At first, it had awkward interactions with civilians due to a lack of common topics and a lack of experience. The slightly broken Biesellite it was programmed with made it more interesting to overcome though. Over time 19 has learned more in its newly acquired free time making it easier to speak to people. It also started reading about things. One of the soldiers back in Frontier did this to emotionally decompress, apparently. But 19 found reading interesting because it could learn from it. It found learning about things to be "interesting". It was the most interested in weapons. 19 served its days protecting the corporation's assets, occasionally catching some criminals or helping in operations until a notice arrived. "As of the meeting of 2466-10-11, the decision has been made to send Z.I. GYURZA 19RAF to SCCV Horizon in order to assist in maintaining security aboard the ship." How has the recent events of the Orion Spur impacted your character? As the GYURZA series arrived late, 19 mostly experienced the consequences of the events. Due to phoron scarcity, it has noticed a never-ending increase in political tensions that have an effect on its jobs. They stably become more and more dangerous as the time passes. The events in Konyang also caused a whole lot of problems and new orders. From getting better anti-malware suites installed to helping improve Zavodskoi's IPC workforce's reputation. How does your character view the megacorporation they work for? GYURZA 19RAF views Zavodskoi Interstellar as a dutiful and experienced military megacorporation. It finds them to be easy to work for as long as you follow their rules and don't cause problems. And as its only lifeline, serving the Z.I. to its best is quite literally the only option for it. Having read through many runaway IPC reports on the net, 19 tries to be useful in order to avoid scrapping or a memory wipe. The programming package in the meantime ensures its loyalty to the Zavodskoi.

Due to GYURZA being a newly developed unit type, it has been spotted getting often deployed into hotspots or locations with intensive criminal activity. 19 itself has been actively deployed in many locations during its service such as trade hubs like Valkyrie and the human frontier. Unfortunately, GYURZA units have a poor reputation since some commanders send them to do frontal assaults causing a significant amount of casualties. On the contrary, when they are effectively utilized they cause significant disruption, allowing the main force to breach enemy defenses with fewer casualties or much more easily capture criminals. GYURZA 19RA was manufactured on 2465-01-02 at Nova Luxemburg inside the HQ behind the closed doors of Zavodskoi Interstellar and spent its first weeks performing different tests with the science teams. Number 19, as one of the earliest production models received some of the best attention, software, and equipment to enact the guerilla warfare tactics in hunter-killer teams. As such its performance was more than satisfactory in its role. GYURZA 19RA has been observed to be very interested in learning about different things. There are many cases where 19 has been inquiring specialists about their duties. As of the decision during a meeting on 2466-10-11, the GYURZA 19RA has been sent to SSCV Horizon in order to assist in maintaining security aboard the ship and as a sign of goodwill. How has the recent events of the Orion Spur impacted your character? As GYURZA 19RA was created after all major events, from its perspective the Spur was always chaotic and politically unstable. However, it has been noticing that the jobs it gets become more dangerous and more paying over time. Quoting 19 "Hell pays a lot more than the heavens.". How does your character view the megacorporation they work for? GYURZA 19RA views Zavodskoi Interstellar as a dutiful and experienced military megacorporation.
