One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: Well it was the first race I wanted to apply for but I was concerned I couldn't do it, but I honestly just like the whole idea of the Dionaea, I think they are interesting and have a cool lore, even if it is rather limited. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Well unlike the species I have already obtained the Dionaea actually have a few different mechanics, such as light and radiation for healing and darkness damaging. They also have the role-playing aspects like talking slowly, being overly invasive, and addressing themselves as we. They don't react to many things the same way the other species would and I think they probably the most unique. Character Name Where not a Withered Plant Grows Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs. A doinaea nymth was grown in a jungle by a young man, when the dioneae awoke, the shed blossomed with colourful flowers and plants. Everything was full of life and it was the most beautiful they'd ever seen, the large jungle had no other life but nature to be seen. The diona grew up with the man, not knowing if the man was sane or not but learned everything he knew from him. He explained how he took care of the jungle as he was the only one there. Time went much faster for the man and eventually he passed leaving to diona alone. For many decades the diona cared for the forest losing his touch with his once social life. After some time others came to the jungle, curious of it's beauty. They slowly started to cut down tress and polluting the once beautiful jungle and then leaving after they destoyed it. The diona remained hidden, watching as the people who came here slowly killed the jungle him and the man before him cared for so much. He grew farther away from society and rotted with the rest of the jungle. After his home had died, he thought, he sat and thought for days, months, years. He woke up back into reality and saw the small plants sprouting from the ground and realized it was time to leave and the forest could know care for itself. What do you like about this character? I think they have a deeper understanding of life after the traumas he had been through. He is wise and I think that makes him interesting. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I would rated it a 8.5/10. I have been roleplaying for some time and really enjoy it. I feel like adding another species will further my ability to do so as well. Notes:

I play with Joyce quite a bit and I think she will be a wonderful head of staff, Joyce is always pushing herself and always has a smile on her face. She really makes the rounds an joy IC and OOC, she is responsible and has basic knowledge in many things.

Actually only the Weurusian skrell (green ones) have tribes. They are kind of the obscure skrell you don't here about a lot and don't leave the swamps of there planet.

One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I think that it would be really fun to do! I also think we need more of them. I have noticed that it has slowly become less played as we've had a large influx of Tarajan characters lately. I thought it may be interesting since they seem like a rather fun and intelligent race. I think that Skrell are usually rather bubbly and that I will be able to play one well. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: I feel like roleplaying the accent may be slightly challenging compared to humans and that the Skrell react to certain situations differently then a person would. They express themselves differently and show their emotions differently towards other species. Character Name: Tup Quintral Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Tup grew up in a small swamp of Jargon IV in his Weurusian tribe, a highly social tribe that flourished within the planet. The community never grew in size very much and was rather peaceful. Tup found himself bored, trapped within the small world of his swamp and wanted to experience more on his planet and farther. Due to his curiosity Tup was an outcast in the tribe whether it was said or not. His curiosity was not extinguished by the other tribes people though and he decided to travel away from his home unlike most. He traveled a far way from home, getting many odd looks seeing a Weurusian away from the swamps. He learned about the other cultures of his world and traveled throughout it, seeing many new things that he wasn't aware of. He found himself rather interested by the technology of the world, fascinated by the different species and cultures, and amazed by the diversity. Telling his story of exploration as he ventured on. What do you like about this character? I like how Tup is bubbly and has a taste for adventure, his demeanor is far from quiet and shy and he just wants to learn about things different from where he grew up. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I would say an 8.5/10, I think I have really improved since I started playing on the aurora regularly, especially with playing as a head of staff. Notes: I hope you like reading my backstory even if I don't get the white listing.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it all. To the fact that Victoria Beach would not be a suitable head of staff is disappointing and I have a different opinion of course or I would not have made an application. Since I started playing in medical my goal has to reach head of staff with Victoria, She has worked her way up from intern to a capable surgeon with knowledge in other fields too. You say she supports the team and is a rising doctor which is what I hoped for, a head of staff needs to be supportive and I feel like Victoria is competent enough in her other fields, including surgery to make the next step up too the CMO. She has been in medical since I began playing and aged slowly, mentally and physically and at age 30 has finally earned the respect and even the admiration of her co-workers to feel confident enough to be a head of staff. I see what you mean with it going against her character as until recently she stayed in the background and never really took charge, but I feel this will just add the the character and her personality, I hope she will become a head one day all things considered. After reading the characters story and such I think they will be a good addition to the station, SilverTalismen has good roleplaying skills and doesn't lose character. Although I have only bumped into their other character I think they would be a great Tajaraan.

After playing with Chives a few round I believe that he would be an Excellent CMO, he is well driven and knows when to get other authorities involved. He would be an excellent cmo

I have played with Jack a few times in medical and I think he could totally be a head, his character is full of emotion and really brings them to life, he has a rather large ego but I think that adds to him and that it would make him even more suitable to be a head of staff.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplaying is about changing your personality to fit a certain role, whether it be a bartender or a security officer you must act the part, roleplaying is getting to be someone you aren't and experiencing a new side of yourself. It should be about entertainment, amusement, and should but your mind to work. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: I feel like when you are a head the people who work under you will look to you for advice and questions they have, you are essentially the role model for your underneaths and need to let them know what is okay and isn't before you start taking charge. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: You need to stay in character while playing and pay attention so you don't suddenly lose your lisp or something while speaking if you're an alien. I think that playing a whitelisted character is more challenging so you are expected to act more mature and be a better example to show that not anyone can be a special role. Character name: Victoria Beach Character age: 30 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Born in the Sol System on Saturn's moon Titan, Victoria Beach grew up in a very small community. She was a lonely child due to her right leg being missing at birth and the judgment of the the people. Knowing at a young age she wanted to go somewhere in life where she would be accepted she moved to earth at the age of 17 where her life began. Beach had enough money to get into school, and shared an ampartment with a friend who introduced her to the man she has now been married to for eight years, Clement Beach. As soon as she could start working she got an internship on the NSS Aurora thanks to her husband who was an officer there. She worked long and hard on the station, slowly making her way up to one of the surgeons at age 30. Making many friends on the way Victoria is social and gets along with most crew and feels like she belongs there and won't be judged in her new found happiness and hopes she will be there for a long time. What do you like about this character?: Victoria is very driven and friendly, she tries to understand the situation and takes control if necessary. A very happy person and will do her job till the end no matter the circumstances. What do you dislike about this character?: She get's stressed rather easily and will always but others well beings before her own, she really takes things to heart which can be good or bad, and will tell someone if they are wrong. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: I think Victoria would be a good head of staff because a lot of the medical team respects her, she is well rounded in her knowledge of medical but lacking a bit in virology. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I would rate myself an 8/10 as I've been roleplaying for quite some time and try to bring different aspects of my personality into all characters I try. I play with Icuris a lot and I think Clement is a very good security officer, he's definitely a well rounded officer and usually more calm then others.
