If you need to leave, please go to cyro or the lifts before you do, or at least inform us via ahelp or ooc if it's a rush.

I understand the urge to make sure players know the rules, however, I logged out while playing an assistant, I believe in the the top deck's lounge. When I was made aware of the warning I went to the discord and asked a few questions, fyni (the staff in question) coincidentally responded. I've attached a screenshot of the response to this post. I specifically play roles like assistant because they are not integral to the round, and the mechanics of the game seem to agree. There are more than enough slots, and my logging out without cryo-ing was not impeding anyone from playing assistant that round. If I was playing an important role, I obviously would have exercised more responsibility. I ask that this warning be removed because in the spirit of the rule ("it’ll free up the job slot for others") it does not apply.

Hello. @Jasorn and I will be taking this complaint. We have discussed this with @Fyni and the rest of the moderation team to clarify any misconceptions about when someone should be warned/not warned, specifically about following escalation standards. In this case, we can see that this was the first incident where you disconnected without first cryoing or going to the lifts, so it should not have been made a warning right away. We will be downgrading this to a note.

It is important to note, however, regardless of your role you should make an effort to leave the round through the proper means (cryoing, going to the lifts). If, for whatever reason you aren't able to you can either shoot us an ahelp or send a message on the Discord. This is a standard we want to hold all of our players to and it should not actually be an issue outside of cases of repeat offenders.

We'll be leaving this open for 24 hours or so if there is anything else.

The warning has been removed. If you are still seeing it, reach out to staff. Locking and archiving.
