How long have you been playing on Aurora?

 

Well, activity has been on and off, mostly off. But at least since 2022.

 

Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they?

 

I have received warnings back in 2024 relating to leaving the round without cryoing, I can absolutely promise that this WON'T be a problem, I will NEVER join as a command role unless I’m certain I have the ability to play for the majority if not the entirety of the round. And if I do happen to leave it will be by using cryo. 

 

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?

 

The purpose of HoS is to help promote the story of each round, since you have a position of authority you can do more and allow more things to happen, meaning you could immediately shoot down the antagonists gimmick and end the rounds fun thirty minutes in. Instead of immediately ruining that round's story, RP, and fun. It is far better to go with it and give everybody the chance to RP and create that engaging story. Additionally, you’re expected to be knowledgeable enough to support new players in your department and be an anchor to everybody and rely upon if they’re in need.

 

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?

This question is very similar to the last one, as the responsibility of every HoS is to uphold the purpose of the role, so to strongly promote the story and fun of the round, while allowing antagonists to do their gimmick for the sake of everybody. But beyond that, each whitelisted player should try to help each new player, teach them the ropes of your department, introduce them to people to get them started with RP, and talk with them. That is what I will be trying to do at least.

 

Explain how the recent events in the Spur changed your character and how they came to be employed on the SCCV Horizon.

 

Izharek Sathdrek is to be my Unathi head of security role. He was still on Moghes while the rebellion was occurring during the new blades, old wounds arc. Seeing the state of the hegemony, he joined the rebellion, he fault with honor as would any good noble but in the field of battle he suffered a grievous injury, he lost an arm. Fortunately he was rescued but the incident has left him to be far less likely to engage directly with an opponent in battle, so in game he will stand back at a safe distance delegating the hard work to his subordinates, but should it really be important he will still show up to fight as he did many years ago. After his time in the military he moved towards a degree in law getting a masters and a prosthetic limb to replace his lost arm. He started working with PMCG and worked for ten years and having enough experience he was able to get hired at the SCCV horizon after relevant physical and mental tests.

 

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?

 

Well, Chief medical officer and head of security. But I will throw a couple liaison rounds in there as Vaurca TA counselor.

It brings me comfort that I can always rely on the fact that I’m always at risk so I don't do anything stupid.
