As a note, being caught out lying to a DO obviously carries heavy consequences.

1st: Warning.

2nd: Demotion.

3rd: Fired.



This isn't to say that you CAN'T lie to Duty Officers, but if you do, be smart about it; HR personnel and Internal Affairs guys in ordinary companies can royally mess you up if you lie to them, and they catch it.
