(There are a few others that I don't play anymore) How long have you been playing on Aurora?:Since early June Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?:Becuase I feel like I am ready to help newer players, and that can be achieved through a head role. Also I feel like this whitelist can help further my roleplaying abilities. Why did you come to Aurora?:I was tired of the LRP servers that I used to play on (Hippie) so I went through the server list and tried out a few HRP servers like Hypatia. I found these extended only servers to be too slow so I joined Aurora and I have been playing on the server ever since. Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Yes Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplaying is basically you the player taking over someones role in life. It can be close to what you are doing in real life or, as different as you living the life of a tree. It should be enjoyable to everyone involved and it should be something that you could use to relax and take you away from the stresses of real life. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: I think that the OOC purpose of a head of staff is to keep a stable roleplay enviorment and to help others be roleplay corrrectly. Considering the Head of Staff managed to get a whitelist I think that they should be the kind of player that know right from wrong (IE. not welderbombing the escape shuttle). They should be a player that others can trust and be able to ask them questions if they aren't sure how to do something. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:Since a Head of Staff is what they are. People hold them to a higher standered than other players. People expect them to have the ability to keep the roleplay interesting and moving. I would try to uphold this by having my characters be as realistic as possible and have them seem like real people. I would keep my characters from being too mean to anyone person and I would make them seem like leaders. I would keep them from being flat characters by adapting my roleplay aprropriatly to the situation. Character name:Ri'Kistae Sahir Character age:31 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Kistae was born into the dying Sahir family back on Adhomai. When Kistae was still very young her parents were killed. Because of this Kistae was sent away to live with her cousins in a town off of Mendell City on Biesel. Her cousin who she looked up to very much worked for the local law enforcement. She was always interested in what her cousin was doing so when she was old enough she applied and was accepted into a prestigious university in Mendell City. While she was there she studied law and trained to be in the security force. Eventually Kistae graduated from the university with a masters degree and was hired by nanotrasen. Her first workplace was at the NSS Odin where she completed her year long cadet-ship and was taught the correct ways to manage prisoners. About five years into her working on the NSS Odin she was transferred to the Aurora Research Station. There she worked for six more years. During her tenth year working for NanoTrasen they promoted her to Brig Warden. While she was a warden Kistae went through training to become a HoS incase of emergencies. After a while she decided to apply for a promotion to HoS. What do you like about this character?: I like that her life on Biesel influenced her to what she wanted to be. What do you dislike about this character?: I don't like that I didn't really flesh her out that much. I have many ideas in my head about what she is but never can really put them into words. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: I think that she is fit to be a head of staff becuase she gets the job done when she needs to but isn't overly harsh. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions. I just had the opportunity of playing with them as they were an interim HoS (with Sahir), and they played quite well and worked with what they got. I'd love to see them in an actual HoS character.
