Clarification for The New Kingdom of Adhomai.

Right, so the New Kingdom denounces outside intervention in the planet's politics, and according to Sue herself, The New Kingdom offers public services for it's citizens. So, taking account that credits/Thalers/whateverthefucks are a universal currency brought to Adhomai from outside sources, would the New Kingdom also denounce the Galactic Credit/Thale and create their own currency?

The Sol Alliance may be a vestigial empire, but its cultural power is the most powerful in our setting. The only way to do business in the galaxy is to use Credits, which are nicknamed Thalers for as long as newcode lasts. The planet facing difficulty in transitioning to this new currency is one of the advantages humanity has over them. I might say that Credits just aren't allowed to be exchanged for other currencies, which further reinforces it as the currency you need to use.

On Adhomai, the Credit was already adopted and put in use, and is now the standard. Unless Sue wants to disagree, this would make it mandatory to use, especially since it's very hard for the New Kingdom to back up anything else.

Long story short: yes, because they have to and it's too much trouble to try to adopt anything else in the middle of a civil war.
