Jboy2000000 Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 3022 is a good ways in the future, through ages, wars and peaces there is a united front for all of humanity. The United Human Federation spans from Sol to 12 Light Years away. In very few ways are these days similar to the days of yesteryear. For the most basic thing, the most spoke language in the galaxies is Human Common, a hodgepodge of Mandarin, Spanish and English, though outside of Sol and Outter-Sol it's more common that some people speak old, native languages. Outside of that, history is complex. The Federation's History. By 2104 almost every major power on Earth had staked a claim on Mars, and things were uneasy about just who actually had control over the plant. United Korea had the largest colony, Russia had the most well armed, and China had the most advanced. United Korea's colony was the size of Texas, Russia carried a nuclear arsenal to their colony, and China was able to terraform Martian soil to the point they could plant crops in it. Historians call this point of time the Martian Cold War. Fearing the nuclear arsenal on Mars, Korea and China formed a temporary defensive pact, stating that if anything happened on Mars, their combined forces would bear down on Earth bound Russian Federation territories. In turn Russia decided to line their borders with AA weapons, and lay mines along the very edges of their sea borders. The non-conflict ended by 2120, when it was decided by China and Korea Mar wasn't worth it. For as much work as they put into it, living there was a non-option because of how many people died there. Instead they just let Russia try to colonize, Korea left, but China changed it into a gas station for ships of all affiliations. This was the beginning of the Federation, even if it doesn't seem like it. With a refueling planet available for all now, the entirety of Sol was about to be colonized and picked and named for every state, every people, every religion and every mega-company on Earth. It was almost glorious, until it wasn't. The stress of countless cold wars, civil wars, and disputes over claims couldn't stand anymore, and everything imploded on itself. Earth was nearly destroyed, several planets fell to waste, and countless planets were able to stake independence. By the 2200's Earth as we knew it was gone, and it's place what was left banded to together to end the needless bloodshed. Before 2300 came to pass they were able to convince the independent planets to do the same. From there out, 800 plus years forward, and they expanded to the point they are in 3022. Regions of the Federation Sol Sol is just Sol, the one galaxy where it all started. The best academies, collages, and military training centers are on Earth and the surrounding worlds. The Federation puts the most effort here to stopping crime, the most you see around the sun is white collar stuff, unless you go to Pluto and Charon, used for smuggling first world products out of Sol. Outter-Sol Systems that fall within two light years of Sol, schools are almost just as good as Sol, just short really, but you start to see more crime out here. This is where some people would say it's most like how things used to be, not like the Sol Worlds. Most hospitable planets are like what Earth was in the 21st century, except out here most planets are unified, and Federation Rangers poke their head in to make sure things aren't too crazy on the edge of these places and Sol. Federation Edge Everything from Outter-Sol out, the boonies of the Human Federation. More or less law aid from the Federation is non-existent, Federation members left to provide their own policing, which is why crime here in the worst in the Federation, some Federation members just aren't big enough to fight crime coming for their own world and surrounding gangs, smugglers and ne'er-do-wells. Colony Worlds Places outside of the Edge, less than a light year away where hopefuls go to stake their own claims and settle down, either for or against the Federation. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. How does this game work? Starting We start off by choosing a captain. I will accept five candidates for who would like to be the captain of the vessel that will be playing among the stars. Ill pick whatever captain I think will make things the most interesting. Once a captain is chosen, that captain can creation his own application with whatever criteria they want when looking for crew, pick them out from there, and then supply them whatever roles they want. The game starts in whatever system the captain is from. Character Sheet Name: Gender: Age: Region: Personality: Quote

Jboy2000000 Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 While you're waiting for replies to come back, you should think about actually getting a ship to captain. Anyone with a dream like your's would surely be smart enough to gather at least 200,000 Credit Points to get something cheap and reliable. There are a few places you can look. There government surplus ships, stuff that was old back when Sol was just unified. Then theres going through junkers looking for a seller of fixed up clunkers and junkers, but keep in mind safety and features are never guaranteed going through these channels. The most expensive option is buy something new at sticker price, but the expenses are what you pay for quality. Quote
