Guest Marlon Phoenix
If you make medical more obtuse than it already is I for one would no longer play in the department. Adding additional complexity to the processes is not the way to "improve roleplay" and there is no gameplay problem. It is already complicated. Surgery requires a surgeon. You already have to do a surgery that requires a specific pattern of tools to solve a single anatomical injury. Making it more difficult to find these injures would provide no benefit whatsoever except increasing the frustration for doctors and the number of fatalities. Link to comment
Guest
scanner beds are too easy at detecting everything they are the only way to detect internal bleeding, bone breaks and exact damage of organs Clearly you haven't seen new players struggle with Baymed. It is way more complex than the system you'd see on Hippie. and doesn't offer an even slightly believable representation of cardiac/neurosurgery Who cares? If you're not having discussions with fellow medical staff using real life medical vocabulary and vernacular, whose problem is that? It sounds like a client-based issue, really. Link to comment
