Why do you wish to play this specific race: I would like to play this race because it sounds interesting and cool.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: First of all, they're often known due to their very low speed. They heal out of radiation and are immune to fire (From what I know, this will be changed to just increased regeneration later on). Without light for an extended amount of time, they will suffer a lot of damage. They are immune to pressure and temperature (they are soon to be nerfed to have a weakness to cold, however, for balancing reasons). They have their own language, too, named Rootsong. While they are able to speak and/or understand languages based on the genetic samples they have acquired, they are also known for speaking slow and acting slow. There are no actual "individual" adults but rather, each Dionae is a collectivity of nymphs acting together.

Character Name: Sun Over Plains

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs : It was grown by a human on Earth, first considered more of a pet, but after a while, it was considered a household member. It had a regular, casual life, helping with things around the household when needed. Eventually, it decided to look for work, and so chose to work on one of the stations owned by the mega-corporation Nanotrasen.

What do you like about this character? : The calm temperament. Relaxed attitude.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? : Mediocre-to-good.

Notes: Regarding the backstory, eventually, the nymph merged with other nymphs grown by the human, forming the Gestalt.

What Complete Garbage said. Unfortunately, seeing it's been a few days (very sorry about that) and how your application is very VERY barebone, I'm afraid I'm going to deny this application. (You get massive brownie points for realizing and admitting you're not the best at roleplaying though).
