Why do you wish to play this specific race: I would enjoy playing the semi-ambivalent but overly curious plant person race immensely. Overall, it provides me with a better reason to be more curious about things in the station, and to occasionally be a bit of a bumbling goof. Also, being terrified of the dark as just an addon would be hysterical, there is nothing quite like a screaming angry bush when the lights don't work. Also, as an Ork I best identify with a greener race...

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:Specifically its the quest for knowledge and curiousity for me, mixed with the occasional lack of... why wouldn't I do that? Why wouldn't I try that?

Character Name:Masina Goldspinner

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

Our story begins in a quiet white room, well quiet for some time at least... It didn't take all that long for us to... smell something familiar, necessary even. A blood pool, but I hardly knew that at the time either... We must have made quite the sight for those few days! Scrabbling about the hallways, squeezing through vents... and finally nesting to maturity in the medbay... All the while we stared, absorbing all this... knowledge, medicine, anatomy, surgical procedures... it was second nature to us when we rose up.

Now? We are called Masnia Goldspinner... it helps those who... don't share our plurality of existence understand us better. Though we hardly remember to even speak as such so... it may not always work, but that hardly matters. What matters is that I learn more about these... different creatures and this strange station. Most importantly however, I must watch over those who are most like me, those who choose to learn more about there fellows... and try to protect them when I can.

What do you like about this character? Overall? I'm looking forward to the protective motherly aspect of it... brooding over my medbay would be most amusing.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? Reasonably high, I can be taken by bouts of... stupidity at times, but generally I'm good.
