Do you guys know what are cool? Maps. Maps are fucking cool and I have nobody else to talk to about maps so I made a thread.

Post maps and map accessories. Old maps? Coolio, new maps? Double coolio. Normal maps? Nothing like a good 3d model. Incorrect maps? You bet your ass. Ss13 maps? Sure but lame. Even genome maps. Maps everywhere, maps are great, post maps. I'll start.

Not an authentic map from 1477 (I believe that it's a time-frame, actually, due to the lower left. 1477-1480?) since it was made in the 1900s sometime because of the company that made it (bottom left), still a neat map showing central europe around the end of the Burgundian wars. Heckin' coolio.

Hey I double posted in my own thread. Boohoo get over it more maps my dude.

Western Europe in 1717. Done in french and I don't speak french but we can tell from the map that it is sometime after August 17th because the Ottoman empire no longer has Belgrade.

Some neat things about the time period, all of the countries here were still reeling from the War of the Spanish Succession. France would, in fact, declare war on Spain the following year, resulting in the war of the Quadruple Alliance to keep Spain from becoming too powerful (Since the king of Spain wanted to rule the french and retake lost lands in Italy.

England and Scotland had just recently become unified in 1707, forming what would eventually become the strongest nation in the world.

A really neat map, this one, incredibly niche (especially since we know that it's after august 17th and not a few months later war would already break out again in Europe.)
