Woody41 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Hi there, finally after few months I found working solution how to run BYOND on Mac! Is it real? YES, it is not fake. First download this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwDczV6NWJJBQjJjWXVySU9KVWM/view 2. Move BYOND.app to Application folder and try to run (just right click and start, because it is downloaded from internet) 3. Download DirectX: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6812 and install it using BYOND.app (Open in BYOND.app) 4. Run BYOND.app, log in and go to preferences (CTRL+P). In Game tab unselect Graphic hardware for displaying map and click OK. 5. Join server and enjoy. It works for me on last macOS Sierra - 10.12.6 Optionaly you can read readme file. Light problem: If you have problem with bad light as in attachments, try to correctly install directX in step 3. I had this problem and this solved it. Reference:
