Compounding Pharmacy instead of Chemistry or both? And another suggestion,

I wanted to put this out here since Chemistry mostly works on pills and medications. Couldn't it be named an Compounding Pharmacy instead of Chemistry? Compounding Pharmacy is virtually the same as Chemistry but a different name.

Even if the compounding pharmacy idea doesn't take off. Can Chemistry start off with some important medicines in powder form and then using a pill press or whatever. They press them into pills and get to choose the design and possibly implement their own designs on the pills or whatever? I think that'd be neat.

I don't exactly see the need to change the departmental name of chemistry.

I'm also confused by the second part of your suggestion. You can already make pills in chemistry and choose their design by clicking on the pill icon in the chemmaster. Bottles design can be changed in this manner as well. As for "starting with important chems in powder form", heck no. Just make them yourself at round start. Chemists have little enough to keep them busy with as-is without removing more work from them.

Chemistry is now part of Medbay and is called Pharmacy, therefore this suggestion is considered outdated/implemented.
