I wanna throw out my two cents for Distress Signal response teams
1: Pizza Delivery
one dude with pizza. yes this is stolen from CM
bonus points: there is a Revolver in the Pizza Box, the delivery boy isn't delivering pizza today
2: Cultist Squad
It'd be pretty funny if in a cult round the Cultists attack the crew with swords and jazz. like they do every single time and Command Calls a ERT to deal with them. only to get more cultists!.
3: "ERT"
The Idea here is that the original ERT squad has had a "accident" along the flight to Aurora and have been absorbed by a malicious group of Changelings that want to use the station as a All-you-can-eat-buffet.
Bonus Points if the REAL ERT squad arrives and confronts the fake squad. or vice versa.
4: Mercenaries
Not the red-suited kind. this is a ramshackle group of convicts who want to gain money, they will work for whoever pays them. so they have the potential to save the station from that nasty cult army. or get paid off by the traitor and kill everyone
