How long have you played SS13?: Going on around 4 years now in total, but I'm back after a year's hiatus.
How long have you played on Aurora: Almost two months now.
How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: Since I have returned from my hiatus, I have actively made a character for each department in the prospect of familiarizing myself with the game. After nearly two months of practicing, I am versed in medical, and semi in engineering. Security and science are still a work in progress, but I am coming along.
Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: None.
Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: I have never been banned.
Personality
Why do you play SS13?: Personally, it's because I love to roleplay, and the diversity of each round and the relationships I build with other characters keep me coming back.
Why do you play on Aurora?: To be frank, it was the server that stood out to me the most. After trialing other servers, I felt like this was the place I wanted to be.
What do moderators do?: A moderator is a watchman. They oversee the internals of the server as a round is in progress, and are there to provide help and guidance should someone need it. They also enforce the rules, and discipline players completely unbiased should a rule be broken.
What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: Being a moderator on Aurora means that I would be becoming a part of a team that keeps this train moving, as well as maintaining a positive atmosphere in the server.
Why do you want to be a moderator?: I want to be a moderator simply because I love this game and I love this community, and I want to contribute more. Plain and simple.
What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I personally believe that my cool headed attitude is what would make me a good moderator, as well as my ability to be friendly with nearly anyone. I also possess a desire to make the environment I inhabit an enjoyable one, which includes enforcing rules and speaking casually with players when the opportunity arises.
How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I would say that I'm very capable of taking hits with a smile, and I know my limits. If I know I cannot handle a situation because my emotions become compromised, I won't hesitate to turn it over to a higher up.

I would be absolutely honored to be able to become a larger part of this family on Aurora. I've made so many friends already, and I can't wait for the opportunity to gain more and nurture the ones I already have. Even if this application isn't the one to get me the position.
