another note: i have made some other mistakes beforehand. but as i said i had no clue what i was doing since i was fairly new, i now fully understand all rules that apply to most servers. I made mistakes, and would like another chance

BYOND Key: Jimdijkemans / boopamboi ( i forgot my login so i created a new account "Jimdijkemans", got banned on "Boopamboi") Total Ban Length: Permanent Banning staff member's Key: pratepresidenten Reason of Ban: "Acting like a greytide, tried killing himself and logged off after being winded" Reason for Appeal: I made a small mistake almost over a year ago and got permabanned for it, I tried loading my weapon as a noob and shot myself instead, then left the game. I also made a few other small mistakes while not fully understanding the game, I already put in a unban request a long time ago but that got denied. I did not mean any harm. I just wanted to roleplay. Thats why im coming back, I miss the High RP aspect in the game. I still dont get why i got a perma ban.

Reason for Appeal: At the time i was banned I was fairly new to the game. I was a security cadet, stationed with a gun outside the bridge. On the comms there was a lot of talking about people breaking in to the AI core, and to set your guns to kill. so i pulled out my pistol to be safe. I tried to see if there were any bullets in the weapon, but accidently shot myself in the head doing this. After this occured, i disconnected from the game. I understand that this was in fact against the rules. and i am really sorry, at the time i had many issues with the controls. I hope to be able to play on the server again, since i had a great time!

AI kept getting breached in, everyone went crazy in the comms. i stood outside command, and thought it would be a good idea to check my weapon before anything happens.

i never had a taser, only a .45 custom pistol that i was not sure if it had bullets. i never received PM's about wearing a softsuit helmet while holding a baton and dont even understand what the problem doing that? i still stand by the claim i was attempting to reload.

This was my first time as security cadet handeling a gun, i tried reloading it. But this ended up me shooting myself in the head. After this occured, I got pissed at the game ( its my own fault ofc) and i logged off. Sorry for breaking a rule, and it wont happen again, since i now know how to properly load my weapon.
