  1. BYOND Key: stfuhoorah Character Names: Cam Mysnagi, Kaito Mysanagi, Michal Garrison, Jayne Mire, Preston Hice, Alden Cowper, Rhetta Hice, Jalen Roberts, Braydon Stewart Species you are applying to play: Hharar Tajaran What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Taupe (RGB 72, 60, 50) Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: At first, it was simply because 'ooh furries, my interest is piqued.' However, after interacting with them in game and inquiring on their lore, my interest has expanded to include their significant political unrest, how their society is adapting to extraterrestrial contact, the sudden jumps in technology, and so on. Most of all I wish to see first hand what its like to play this kind of person, exposed to such turmoil and promptly shoved out into the rest of the galaxy, surrounded by so many more perspectives. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: As stated previously, the significant political turmoil on their home planet provides for very different rp and perspective than most humans, who live in a state of peace until relatively recently in the lore. On top of this, there is also the relatively recent addition of advanced technology, with a lot of Adhomai not having access to what the rest of the universe would consider modern technology. Character Name: Ma'Naheh'raya Sahir Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Born to a small family in a relatively little town, she lived a simple life of little note up until 11 years, when the second revolution kicked off, and a DRPA raid on her town killed most of the occupants, including the majority of her family. Until then the town was primarily PRA, and while some turned their backs on them for their late response to the attack, she chose to stand by them even more than before, having no others to turn to in her broken state. During her time tagging along with PRA soldiers, she quickly fell into a medical role, helping the medics with basic things such as grabbing items or holding something, eventually working her way to actual first aid and field medicine. During this time she saw first hand the atrocities that the DRPA committed, to both civilians and PRA combined. After some time, she returned to proper education, spending her free time volunteering at local clinics, and eventually enrolling into the Trizar State Medical Academy at 18. After a year of courses, she was put into an exchange program with the Biesel Institute of Medical Sciences, giving her a chance to leave her home world for the first time, and further her education with a fresh perspective from this extra-terrestrial college. However, due to only having a year of proper medical education under her belt, she isn't quite qualified for a medical internship or residency. This, combined with an increased cost of living, has driven her to pick up work as a cargo tech on the Aurora. What do you like about this character? What I like about her isn't so much what is, but what can be. I am planning on developing her character from what she is now, a die-hard PRA supporter, into a more neutral, human-like Tajaran. through interactions with other cultures, an expanded perspective on not only her home-world's situation, but the universe as a whole, and simply interacting with more than just her own race primarily, I look forward to the potential for growth as a person coming to fruition. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I can't consider myself skilled by any means, however I appear to be adequate enough to not be bwoinked for failrp in the time I've spent station-side. Notes: I would like to add that watching her family and friends be butchered by the DRPA has had a lasting effect, in that she is mostly numb to watching death unfold before her. This is one of a number of factors that lead to her falling into the medical field. Though she is prone to very, violent nightmares, often finding herself waking up on the floor.
