suggestion, persistence of the world in the game

@kryostro , why won't it work for aurora? @desven , art would be cool, I hope that will be seriosly considered if item persistence is not something thats needed right now. -
I would enjoy if the world in aurora would have some minor world building persistence between each round, a misplaced tool here, a shotgun shell there that sort of stuff done by players. I know coding is hard and I am no position to ask grand changes like the world littrly retains the map between each round, not to mention how impossible it is in a multiplayer setting, but a few tiny things might be nice. I made D&D campaings where time and movement doesnt stop or reset, every action is permenment and changes the world in some way and for me a roleplay game that doesnt have it lets me feel it lacks something, I might be the only one like this, please say your opinion aswell. Have a fun time, Trick.

Type (e.g. Planet, Faction, System):super matter creation and the Consequences with it. Describe this proposal in a single sentence (12 word maximum): exapnsion of super matter creation as man made material. How will this be reflected on-station? characters can have history or part in Manufacturing process of SM or can have dislike or hate towards SM and the consequences surrounding it's manufacturing. Corprote assets can include SM Specialized machinery and yield of SM. More option for player characters to detest mega corporations practices and alot of Opportunity for more backstory history. Does this faction/etc do anything not achieved by what already exists? SM lore is very bare bones, while being personally intersted in reading about SM and asking around I found most SM lore to be undisclosed and open for opportunity. Why should this be given to lore developers rather than remain player created lore? Lore of this size can't be taken as a random player lore, giving at least a base will give players somewhere to build from. Do you understand that if this is submitted, you are signing it away to the lore team, and that it's possible that it will change over time in ways that you may not forsee? Yep and I incourge the lore team to change it as they see fit, I am still a novice in all of this. Long Description: SM is man made (or alien made), singulirty equipment is used to create a temporary black hole and then tons of raw phoron is thrown into the blackhole in a controlled enviroment, the black hole is forced to collapse leaving behind fresh SM in a field that doesn't allow it to blow up on creation. Singulirty technology already exist, making the lore expo easy to add in. SM powers entire city's, evatully the SM will become exhausted or too weak to power in Satisfactory energy, new ones need to be made and who is better to do that other then good ol nanotrason. The problems though with such dangeroues manfuctring is that many errors could occour while SM is created, a rouge black hole that refuses to collapse can escape and take over the center of a planet or astroid and slowly eat it from the inside, a weak field that supposed to contain the fresh SM fails and the new SM 10 times the strength of an old core can blowup and make a major disaster. But so far it has not happened and just speculation of what kind of disaster can occour. Because of such danger right on planets with civllaztions many dislike the manfuctring of SM and there's constantly public demend to create SM on far, dead planets rather then on their door step.

Hello, there might be some people that remember me and i hope they do! I played alot of ss13 Aurora as Niki sanem then left for a few months for life reasons and now got a bad case of cringeraties. I'm hoping sharing stupid edgy cringy roleplay that I did will ease my pain and make a few people laugh and cure me from my cringeraties, hopefully also get me back playing ss13. For starters, I love this community! As a D&D player and DM I got hooked on ss13 and in turn on Aurora, it came to the point I spent every spare time on the game, I might of come off annoying or aggressive at times but I must assure all of you, I don't hate or dislike anybody and with each bad moment there was awesome moments. With that out of the way, let's get started. So, you know the job requirements age with each character right? 25 years old except interns, apprentices et cetra. I made my character 23 years old as an engineering apprentice, became proficient with all engineering utilitys, and was asking constantly for a promotion. A good engineering buddy named "standing in the rain" (if I remember correctly) said to just change my age to 25 and I'm good to go, in my stubborn nature I refused with an edgy excuse of; get this- "my character is a genius and she should be higher rank for roleplay" Later I figured how non roleplay it is where even if someone is a genius, he can't be a doctor after 2 years of med school. My character back story was not much better, I thought the whole mental illness thing that my friends do in D&D is pretty cool to work with as a DM, failing to understand how not cool it is IRL. My character was basically a complete clyeptomanic, a sorry excuse to self antag, and when I got actually confronted with real well made roleplay for my characters condition I failed to make good roleplay with that condition. Later I figured out that company's dont employ thieves, possible thieves, in a place with sensitive information or valuable products, it was naive of me to think that's going to fly ><. Last but not least, my character was a secret ex space pirate, a whole pirate life of plundering! Cramped inside a life of going to engineering school. And being an engineer on the pirate vessal of course ><. Thank you for reading my cringy roleplay history, I hope it made laugh! Poison can be good too and instead of applying through a syringe( which doesn't make much sense to me) how about putting it in a rag and wiping the blade( assassin's coated blades like that in the rennasins era) with a chance to either cut yourself or what crystal said,having it have a lesser impact. But I still stand with my origeonal suggestion, poop knifes is extreamly deadly to the ignorent and poor, its the most easy thing to aquire then some high tech deadly poison. A dev should really consider this and not brush it please( I was surprised this topic is still open when I was about to make it again with a few more added details)

i am being completly serioues about the suggestion, in vitenam people used to coat punji sticks with cow,wild animals, and even human feces, and sometimes poison. heres a link to the wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punji_stick

the minor bioweapon is the same idea of vitnam punji sticks, coat sharp objects(knifes, butterfly knifes, cleavers, spears) with poop from the toilets. when the weapon is used against a living blood typed creature it increases the chance of infection and a very fast rapid proggresion of the infection, deadly if left untreated. the mechnical aspect : coating the object: take sharp object and click on the toilet, the object loses its coat after 20 minutes or 3 stabs the intrudction of the disease to the body: per skin broken a 40%-60% chance the body part infected( please note the chance might not be blanced) the more skin been broken the more there is chance for infection creatures able to be infected: warm blooded creatures like : tajara,human,vox. infection: use the infection system(found it on the wiki) with an added speed boost to the infection proggresion (getting gangrene on the 45 minute mark or less) treatment: treated as reguler infection why should this weapon be added: first of all, it is not normal for people to suddnly coat knifes in toilets and would be extreamly suspcioues, it is although a great assassination tool for antags if there are no medical personal or the person being assassinated cannot seek medical help from anyone, the target dies even if the antag dies, also it could make a revolution get an upper hand against an already powerful scecuity.

i would like some criticism if there is any, i am not trying to be lazy, i just do not have anything more come to mind and would like ideas on what to add. i seen other application and i do not think i can achieve a wall of text that other people do. i feel that i may have repeated myself a ton. -

Why do you wish to play this specific race: it is a race that is interesting in both physiological and story concept. the race has difficult history for its home planet, adhomai. playing a character that knows that she must do her best or she gets fired, can make her stressed and sometimes panic in situations that are difficult to solve which is fun and interesting, she does not want to return to adhomai that is in political instability after the second Revolution, the alien race also has a unique physiological structure (as a cat lover). Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: the fear of being at the mercy of human employment knowing that if one day if she would be fired she will be starving or worst sent back to her unstable home planet, the endurance to the tasks and trying to make enough of a living to stay above water makes the character intriguing. a race with complicated political history,culture,education system, is a fun way to roleplay with other tajara that may be unsupportive to her and how she will try to deal with the situations as they come. a new race is always fun to play, the different interactions with almost alien workplace can prove more difficult then a human that is familiar with all of the environment. Please provide a short backstory for this character (Aproxomately two paragraphs) What do you like about this character? tajara name: arikey solmat she was born to a family that is called solmat, her father name is sakar and her mother name is selakmat and she has 2 sisters, it was always silent in their home, her father was a simple factory worker and her mother was a weaver, after the second revolution her father started to speak out openly against the nobility and the People's Republic of Adhomai, until one of arikey sisters has been beaten almost to death to show her father that he must shut his opinion to the public, arikey sister cannot walk since what has occurred. she had a fascination with chemistry, calling it sometimes "magic" and always wanted to learn more about chemistry, learning it in simple house experiments when she was little. after she grew older joined "the school of zhan-khazan unique teaching" with a disappointment that she is only teached simple and non useful recreational experiments that she did on her own before when she was little. and the actual main educational subjects were the basic ones (math,sports and so on) and propaganda on how her race can never be able to do the high education because of lack of intelligence, one of the propaganda subjects is against what she loves to do: chemistry. she is a Zhan-Khazan and always suppressed from racism, although she might take it in a joking manner to show disinterest in arguing, she does suffer from it by having being considered a lesser race and therefore victim of second class citizenship, having a stable education in medical school on her home planet is nearly impossible, therefore she asked for sponsorship from nanotrason to complete her education in pharmaceuticals,she was living in People's Republic of Adhomai, in a city called Dolor. she is a shy tajara that is trying her best to keep her job,and the crew secure and safe. she will learn medical and join the NSS aurora as an intern trying to learn, however she hopes she can be promoted to pharmacist one day and have the solitude and the occupation that she likes, her interest is to have the crew know she is useful, trying to keep them safe,her shyness makes her avoid interactions with other employees,trying to stay out of anyones sight so she can not be tormented and bullied by anyone that has lesser opinion of her race. she will sometimes try to do petty thefts ,the lack of money makes her live in poor conditions, selling any medical stuff that nobody will notice have been taken like drugs,medical supplies,syringes. trying her best to leave enough to whoever needs it . although she does not like the revolution, she did adopt some practices that the revolution has brought, she puts doubt in nobility and she does not believe in religious practices or gods. she thinks those are the causes of her race being looked down upon. she stands at 1.78 m tall she is weights at 87 kg her eyes are green she is 24 years old she speaks ceti basic, Delvahhi and Siik'maas she wears a short skirt and buttoned sweater with dark brown jacket she eats just about anything, but she likes the most hot vegtable and meat stew about the player:i would rate my role playing abilities on high rank since i am both a D&D player and a DM, although as a player i am usually a chaotic natural alignment ,as a DM i succeeded to play a lawful good character named john (my whole group of players love john) so i am going to try to meet in the middle with my tajara and play her natural good

i pulled out my translation tools, not for translation but to fix my typos and grammer mistakes. im sorry when i try to rush purely from confusion i make a short backstory, in my knowlge a backstory should be short and not pointing out things that the DM has built since it will just look like i am repeating what he built. il sit down and work on it a lot more. -
