I doubt anyone would like it if I minced words, so I'll get straight to the point; when I caught this ban I was really, REALLY baked. I was having a crack at SS13 with a few of my friends on my original Ckey -- it was then that I hopped onto the server, hit myself on the head a couple of times in arrivals, I think, and was then promptly banned. Which I totally understand. I would really like a second opportunity here, however -- before THAT particular incident, I had racked up a lot of hours in the server -- done plenty of antag shtuff, as well as having met a bunch of wonderful people here, too. Reason of Ban: Can't remember the exact words, but it, in its most basic form, ''Breaking into the Captain's office as a non-antag, you don't do this without pretty damn good reason.'' Reason for Appeal: Not gonna lie, but I'm still giggling/embarrassed about this all, honest mistake from my part really, I had FINALLY, after years, learned how to hack doors without a multi-tool, after fucking around the main, I ended up at the bridge just as the shuttle was nearing its arrival, I wondered if it worked on the bridge too, it was too easy I thought, maybe its just because the maintenance doors aren't that secure, I thought, so I went up to the bridge's doors, flipped open the panel, whipped out my trusty wirecutters, and cut the pink wire, and just like that, I was in, needless to say, I was foken' livid, and as any other valid assistant would do in my place, I went into the captain's office, at the point, I was just giggling my soul away, snuck into the office, and was just like ''oh man, look at all this cool shit laying around'', ended up yanking open the poor man's locker and putting on his voidsuit and helmet, and some other random, cool looking stuff I found around, walked around the office in the suit, slow as hell, so I decided to take it off, put the stuff back, and fuck off, BUT, before I could, door got kicked in by the I-S-D, complied, then I got a 'bwoink!' in my chat, said my prayers, apologized to the admin, but due to the uh- I'dunno, maybe a dozen or so notes I had gathered over the past 2 months, I ended up getting perma'd, again, I agree with this, pretty valid move, shouldn't have, completely my bad, thanks for taking the time to read, bud, once again, apologies for the hassle.

OK, I do understand the quote on quote problem, so I'm allowed to at least keep the name Caesar and use it with something else, right? like, Caesar Wilhelm, per se, is that alright?

That 'Von' is something that is explicitly allowed according to the rules, I cannot precisely quote it but it went something like ''Having three names is not allowed, but exceptions are made for 'Von''' and another small middle name I can't recall as of now, but point being, if you cannot use Von, why literally tell people that they are allowed to use middle names if it's something like 'Von'. And yes, they all very nicely asked me to change it, and I answered with an equal tone, not once was I rude in any way whatsoever. Your logic is a bit flawed, just like Jake, the name Caesar and Jackson are EXTREMELY common, and they're- again, according to your logic, extreme references, and- In your own words, Caesar is not necessarily a direct reference to the Roman emperor Julius Caesar, it could very well be a ''reference'' to the salad, or some other trivial thing. My point still stands unaltered and unchallenged: Every name can be a reference to something if you try hard enough, examples being: Jake, Adventure Time, Jackson, Michael Jackson, Jackie, Jackie Chan, John, John Wick, and the list goes on and on and on, to the point of where EVERY name is a reference, literally, so there's no point in condemning me for using the name Caesar, or Schrodinger, or Von, the latter being very literally allowed, and I'm sure we all hate going back and forth, so, am I at least allowed to keep the name Caesar? though I don't exactly have to, I guess I'll go ahead and remove the Schrodinger and Von part.

Ok, though I don't really see how 'Caesar Von Schrodinger' is a reference, though yeah, Schrodinger was a fairly known physicist, his name did /not/ have Caesar in it, nor Von, so... and you did mention ''two really known individuals'', are you referring to 'Caesar'? as in... literal Julius Caesar? that's a bit of a stretch though, isn't it? if you pick apart separate names and search for references about them, virtually everyone's name is a reference to something or someone you see, per example, if someone's named Jake Jackson, the name Jake would be, following your logic, a reference to Adventure Time, while Jackson, would be a reference to Michael Jackson, and if someone were to name themselves Jackie Something, Jackie could be a reference to Jackie Chan, and so on and so forth, now if I had used something like Gaius Julius Caesar Schrodinger, then yeah, I could agree that would be a huge reference, or Erwin Rudolf Josef Schrodinger Caesar, again, reference, but you see, together, 'Caesar Von Schrodinger' is a reference to nothing at all, it's simply an unique name, I'm by no means trying to go against you, just simply trying to understand the whole reference system here, and alright.

Reason for Appeal: Because I simply think this ban is an exaggeration, I've been banned before, yeah, but that was because of my name, that was, apparently, a JoJo reference, though I still don't quite agree with that, I digress, anyway, shit happened IC'ly, Caesar got arrested, and I was being processed in my cell, Klauz was undressing my character so to put the prisoner attire on him, and then, like usual, my internet went to hell, ''Ok'', I thought ''I'll just log back in once it arrives, I was basically arrested already anyway,'', but then, I log back in to a permanent ban, which... honestly, I don't think was warranted, I literally had no reason to quit on purpose, it was a literal 10 minute sentence, and I had already paid my fine, it simply made no sense for me to quit, and I did not, that is why I'm here, not for a second chance, no, this isn't the case, as I did nothing wrong, but simply, for a trial a little bit more fair.

Banning staff member's Key: mattatlas Reason of Ban: Can't terribly sure as I'm not really able to log onto my P.C, business travel, can only access phone, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with my character name (Caesar Stroheim) and his security records, plus the quick exit after receiving the a-help. Reason for Appeal: I just wanted to make clear that I didn't log out as soon as I got the adminhelp, it is known that my connections isn't one of the best, and I tend to disconnect rather oftenly, some can vouch for that, but anyway, that's pretty much what happened, I'm sorry I made you think I purposefully logged out so to avoid confrontation, which is something I really have no reason to do, that's why I'm here, anyway, back on topic, while I agree with the reason of my ban, at least for the most part, I can't really agree with the name bit, in all honesty, I had completely forgotten about said jojo reference when I was making my character, Stroheim is simply a very common and regularly used name in France, Italy and Germany (which is where I live) as well, it has been being used ever since the early 1900s actually, it's a nice sounding name, that goes along well with Caesar, that's exactly why I picked that mix, but I can assure you, it was not because of Jojo, it's a nice anime, don't get me wrong, it's good, but it just doesn't influence my choices like that. As for his security record, I agree completely with that, it was actually a joke me and my friends decided to make, it was stupid of my part, yeah, I admit, and I was actually planning on removing it altogether, but eh, this happened! anyhow, thanks for taking the time to read this small book, see ya.
