Give a definition of what you think role-play is, and should be about: Role-play is a state of mind one enters when they don’t want to be themselves. It happens when they want to live the life of another person or being. It draws them out of the confines of their inner self and allows them to do things they've always wanted to and dreamed of. Role-play should be about having fun saving the damsel in distress or playing the bad guy only to lose to the valiant hero. Or have evil take over and leave little to no resistance but it should always be about having fun. If you aren’t having fun you’re doing something wrong, and you need to change it. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, in game?: The OOC purpose should be to correct other players when they are doing something wrong. If they aren’t then they shouldn't be heads of staff because they aren’t doing their jobs. If they won’t correct someone's mistake the moderators or admins will and it will be worse for people. They need to keep a close eye on all things going on POV or not. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: The OOC responsibilities for out of game are to keep an eye on things in chat mostly. If someone is being racist or rude then they need to warn them what will happen if they keep doing it. If someone will not stop being a problem then it is their job to report them to a mod or min so they can talk with them, so in general they are the scouts of the chat. Character name: Gary “Roach” Sanderson Character age:38 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): The man that stands before you is 5’9" tall, has crystal grey eyes, shaggy black hair, a smooth round chin with an average jaw structure. You can see a little stubble in the shape of a rough beard. His voice is calm and medium pitched. His gaze sends a message of understanding. He has the athletic build of a runner. He has a joyful, cheerful attitude but if someone steps out of line, he can instantly change into the “My way or the highway” setting. Roach, before he joined NanoTrasen, lived on earth in England. He went to college when he was 18 years old and continued his studies for the next 6 years. He majored in Mathematics and minored in Psychology at 21. After he graduated, he spent some time trying to find a purpose for his life. That is when he signed up to work for NanoTrasen. He figured that there would be adventure and excitement along the way. He started off his job working as a SEC officer, keeping the peace and stability on board the station. One shift, the station was attacked by unknown assailants and was destroyed. Roach did, however, save many employees with his quick thinking, wits, and leadership. Word got to command about this and he was promoted. What do you like about this character?: I like the fact that he is strong smart and a good leader. What do you dislike about this character?: I don’t like the fact that he can be a little bit too caring at times if he really believes in someone then he will help them. Do you think this character is fit to be a Head of Staff?: Yes, I do. Why?: He has spent 5 years working for NanoTrasen and has been a loyal worker for them in the time that he has worked for them. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I would rate it on a 1 to 10 scale a 7 why because there are sometimes where I lose track of what my person is and my speech becomes bland and tasteless I have got to using the me emote all that well either but after I have a moment of blandness I come back bright and ready with an idea of what to do next. One day While Roach was walking home one day from work he was assaulted and thrown into an ally to die. He was saved by NanoTrasen Employee he was then taken to a hospital to recover from the attack. While he was in the hospital he had an Epiphany he almost died and he realized he has done nothing with his life. if it wasn't for the man coming by to help him he would not be live today so after he got out of the hospital he quit his job and joined NanoTrasen. He then spent the next ten years working for them in a variety of jobs.
