But as I said I can state numerous science fictional and non-fictional examples of surgeons and doctors in wheelchairs. Also, perhaps I don't understand the game mechanics well but movement doesn't feel much different (if different at all) in a wheelchair vs out of one. Just slightly slower but still a reasonable pace. How would it hinder my character from doing his job as a surgeon?

BYOND Key: RhinoKing Staff BYOND Key: Alberyk Game ID: b9y-cn47 Reason for complaint: I feel discriminated against as I couldn't play a surgeon in a wheelchair. I was told that this was against the rules -my character, apparently, wasn't believable due to his disability and chosen job. However, the admins gave me no opportunity to actually play the character and explain his background despite being able to cite numerous examples of real life and fictional surgeons in wheelchairs. I feel that being in a wheelchair is integral to my character and his backstory (the server is high role play). Moreover, games are meant to be an escape from reality; if the server was high fantasy Europe would you not allow my character to be black as it would be unrealistic? I think its absolutely ridiculous and offensive that you won't allow me to play myself in space. That's all I wanted from this heavy role play experience and I'm upset that I was unnecessarily restricted from doing this.
