Overview of the Incident: To make this make more sense as to why Officer Dane-Blanc, (who was also off-duty that shift and came up to the shift as a Off-Duty Crewmember), would try to proceed with their actions, I will clarify that me and Dane-Blanc have a history of not exactly liking each other's company, and to remedy that I challenged them in a spar that they've accepted in Holodeck Alpha, which I asked what rules they wanted to be applied for the spar, which they replied "Just pull punches". The spar continued even after the bell was called, with Officer Dane-Blanc continuing the fight and not listening to the pleads from the crowd to stop, after the spar ended they had a bitter taste in their mouth and called me names, after that I had to report to an accident that happen in the shift. After I was getting ready and heading out from the Brig, Voski Ghasabyan stops me in my tracks by getting my attention asking me about general mundane questions about the shift, which then a few seconds later I find myself to be hit by what is confirmed to be a molotov that was lit up, however it didn't explode on impact. I quickly ran away to ensure I wasn't to be engulfed in flames if the bottle exploded, which luckily it did not, otherwise Voski Ghasabyan would have been hit. The bottle was taken in for evidence and prints of Officer Dane-Blanc were found, which lead to an arrest that Officer Dane-Blanc tried to resist alongside Voski Ghasabyan, pushing and running away from the initial arrest, only to be cornered during a radiation storm and promptly arrested and brought to brig. At first the Warden at the moment issued them minor assault and contraband possession, but after talking to the Commander and giving them the idea of what Officer Dane-Blanc wanted to do he ordered it to be an Attempted Murder. The reason why I insisted to stick with the charge of Attempted Murder was because Officer Dane-Blanc had prepared to plan, prepare and coordinate with Voski Ghasabyan to inflict me harm that would have been otherwise fatal if it wasn't for the lucky chance that the molotov hasn't gone off. And with the background me and Officer Dane-Blanc share, I had believed that they were planning on ending my life if they were to be released again. If they were to be released, they would definitely try again to end my life and likely without failing this time. They tried to throw a molotov at me all because they lost a sparring match they didn't want to lose after the bell rang. Appeal on the forums when you feel you understand what you did wrong. Reason for Appeal: It has been almost a year after I got this Antag ban, I've been playing mostly security and helping and roleplaying with the playerbase and understanding that being an antag is more than just being able to robust players in a game, it takes roleplaying skill, wits and especially a sick sense of humor. My time not playing antag made me realize what it actually meant to play it and the consequences of bad antag play. If I am to recieve a lift from my ban I will make sure to play the role to the community's standard and make sure I bring engagement to the round. I've learned what I did wrong and what I could have done better, and want to make sure that the antag check at the beginning of every round actually gets filled out, thank you for the opportunity.
