AccointNaim
BYOND Key: AccointNaimCharacter Names: Jasmine Bullard, Yayakitik, Kikitiyaki, C.A.R.R.O.T, cyborg or AI.Species you are applying to play: Unathi, mostly just Aut'akh though. What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): SandyHave you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yep!Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: Let's just be honest with this, the main reason I want to play it is because it's new. Second reason, since I'm a synthetic main, borg main, AI main, whatever, I think it'd be fun to try an Unathi Synthetic, it's much more different than the other races, being able to detach their arms for different toolsets, surgery kits, on their arms being able to extend them at will, third reason, I like being a friendly synthetic, so being an Exile Convoy Aut'akh would be neat, calling everyone friend, being nice to everyone, and needing to be around others. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Aut'akh play incredibly differently from most other races, for one they can detach limbs and have Toolsets in their arms, ranging from engineering, to medical, to science, to security! They also have mechanical eyes that can have their departmental huds in them, they also have emergency chemical manufacturing systems in them, and may spend food and drink to use it. They still feel pain, and can taste like normal unathi, their organs are not synthetic, only the additional ones like the ECMS above, and can still have babies. Character Name: Veetek-Kalna, VK-5417#LPlease provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs. Veetek-Kalna, VK-5417#L to other Aut'akh, was previously known as Kalna Laliea a female Unathi, who grew up on Moghes with their Mother and Father and their moisture farm, providing their Clan nearby with water for trade and drinking, the Laliea Moisture Farm is one of the only farms on in the area, 1 of 10 in the area, which makes the farm a hotspot for trading. Kalna operates on the Moisture Domes on the farm, fixing them up, tuning them and upgrading with parts they buy from traders or get from the Clan Village, and even making a landing pad for spaceships nearby, Kalna regularly gets injured during the Upgrade Sessions, but nothing too severe. Their Mother and Father were devout followers of Sk'akh, offering priests that come by free water, often draining their supplies, leaving their family out of stock for days at a time needing them to buy water from their customers or using their emergency supplies. Later on a shopping trip in their Clan's village for groceries they discovered many of the priests that came by were not priests at all, but peasants from other Clan's pretending to be priests to give to their clan. Kalna attempted to explain this to their parents but they refused the truth, and kept offering their supplies to "Priests" that come by, some of them WERE priests but most of them weren't. A month later of them being extorted by fake priests, a shuttle landed on their landing pad, an Albino Unathi came out of the shuttle and started asking around, before they came to Kalna, "Hello, how may I help you ssssir?" Kalna asked, (Assssked, ssshould I sssay?) The Albino said, "Hello Ma'am, have you lost faith for your religion, lossst a loved one, or anything elssse?" Kalna said "...Well, yesss, I have been extorted by multiple fake priesssstsss..." The Albino looked surprised and muttered, "Finally!" Before saying, "Then how can I interesst you in knowing who your priessstss are by usssing a Sssoul Anchor..." They had a lengthy talk afterwards about their life, the Aut'akh religion, and what they both do before Kalna brought most of their water supply to their ship, and said bye to the family farm... Kalna proved valuable to the Cargo Ship they joined, fixing up their fuel tanks and water silos, and the ship hull itself before the ship heading to a Bunker to drop Kalna off for the Soul Anchor and modifications, they had made a life on the Cargo Ship biefore the Aut'akh revealed themselves to the Hegemony, blocking out the exports to the main bunkers, needing their Cargo Ship to join the Exile Fleet and head to Tau Ceti, and the rest is history... What do you like about this character? Kalna will be incredibly suspicious around people of high authority, and priests, asking for some form of hard evidence they are what they are, examples are asking the captain for their employment record, and asking the priest for their ID. And as with many Exile Convoy Colonists they will be incredibly friendly with those they know, Kalna will not be friendly with those they don't know, however, but will be neutral to them until they have some sort of identification... Unless of course, they convince Kalna somehow. How would you rate your role-playing ability? 4/10 to 6/10, fairly average, not all that special, sometimes I joke around.Notes: I'm going to play Unathi only for antagonists until the Aut'akh is released, right now I want to get this application out before the eventual Unathi Application Landslide. Edit: The race has been announced to be playable soon, I think it is too late for me, remember meeeee.... Edit 2: Electric Boogalo: Updating backstory and the WDYLATC Section. Edit 3: Edited March 3, 2019 by Senpai Jackboot Should be A-Okay now, completed the WDYLATC Section. Link to comment

Guest Marlon Phoenix
Hello! Sorry for the delay, You have here a traditional (in terms of Aut'akh) dissatisfaction and recruitment. Despite the lack of feedback, your consistent character motivations make me confident you would be good for an application. I just want to hopefully pre-empt a very small matter I noticed: they worked on a moisture farm, which are often used in deserts. Bear in mind, Moghes was not always the mostly-desert wasteland it is today. With that in mind, application accepted! Link to comment
