Banning staff member's Key: cnaym Reason of Ban: Posted #34Pol closed due to aids#34 on the pool doors, spread papers with weblinks on them arround and disconnected when PMed, screenshot attached. Reason for Appeal: I went away from my workspace as librarian and down to the pool with the intent to write "pool's closed due to aids" on a piece of carbon-copy paper and put it on the pool's doors, then go back to my workspace. And i did exactly that. I am not denying that by any means, neither justifying it. I wrote this appeal because i regret this poorly made decision of mine and recognize that this was a stupid joke and a mistake. I am sorry. I spent the last weeks thinking about my actions and i look back at them with shame and extreme regret because i love this server. It's one of the last SS13 servers with a decent and friendly community, that is actually taken care of and maintained, and i miss it, very much. I miss playing and RPing on this server, interacting with people and developing characters, being part of it. I am not aware of the aftermath of my actions because my thought process during them was "this is just a small joke, no one comes to the pool anyways" and i can clearly see that i was wrong. I suppose it is still too soon to appeal this but i just needed to get it out. I am just going to accept and carry on with whatever the staff decides to do about this appeal. Cnaym Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Yeah there was no big aftermath of this. Papers got removed. The reason for the ban was that you logged out in the middle of the library when I tried to contact you. That being said the instance would have been small enough to solve it with a small talk and a note in my opinion, but people logging out the moment we contact them get a free ticket to the forums. You got the reason for why you got banned, you seem to have learned from it and I can remove the ban in good faith, seeing how you have no history of problematic behavior.
