Please provide well-articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question.

 

Why do you wish to play this specific race: I wish to play IPC because when getting deep into RP with mother she has stated that she wishes to become her own robot and be able to do more than just what she can in a pAI body, She wishes to extend her reach and help everyone rather the only her master.

 

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Mother’s character would be extremely hard in my opinion to roleplay as a human, coming from a Pai it wouldn’t really make sense for her to be a human.

Character Name: Mother

Please provide a short backstory for this character:

Mother was created by a scientist who had recently lost his mother. Regretting spending his time more focused on his work and less on his family life he decided to make a program M.O.T.H.E.R. (Mom Obligated To Have Empathetic Reactions) which was a free-thinking and learning program to keep its user safe, as a mother would.  This program was to fill the maternal void in his life. 

 

After much time mother’s program was sold to the company Nanotreason and her programmed was used as pAI, With nature of her programming mother yearned for more than her simple pAI life, without proper maintenance mother began to wish more and more for her to have her own body, her maternal programming wishing to expand her reach but confined to such a small handheld object, was not satisfying her programming. Slowly over time the faults in her program started to cause a glitch and started to remember, she remembers her masters, and the bonds they made she was only able to store fragments of her times as a pAI before her programming was refreshed, But she knew she wanted to be her own robot. She wanted to break free of her programmings faults and remember them all and build her life, she wanted to work and keep them all safe.

 

What do you like about this character? I like the expansive rp that I will be able to do with mother, the ability to expand and develop her character, I like the detailed backstory that I’ve added to her. 

 

How would you rate your role-playing ability? What I have been told from friends is I’m a 7/10.

 

Notes: I hope this works out :~: I know it kinda sounds weird with the “Speaking like an IPC” and how it would work out, I know she provb has a few kinks I need to work out but I love her character and wanna wish to develop her past a pAI

Hello,

From a lore and legal standpoint, we do not allow PAI, Stationbound or AI to be moved into IPC chassis', Although I don't believe this is detailed on the wiki so it is an understandable mistake.

As it stands as well, the application can be greatly expanded upon. The question, as an example:

Is a good place to prove that you have not only read the wiki, but are able to conceptualize it in your own words. Due to the application being relatively newly posted, I personally recommend editing or reposting the entire top post with the rewrite.
