If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: Earlier in the shift of the third, Antonio Romano suffered injuries from a scrubber discharge, which left him with amnesia, forgetting everyone he knew, and from what it looked like, leaving him in a confused, daze-like state. The doctors, who treated him, released him, despite the clear indications of mental trauma, stating that they did not have any psychiatrists onboard, (which is quite a flimsy reason in my opinion, but that is besides the point). Mr. Romano was either released on his own, or into the care of his "friend". Eitherway, Mr. Thompson decided to "take care" of Mr. Romano. He stated over radio that he would make Mr. Romano "better than he was before", which, quite reasonabely, looking now. Concerned me and my partner, Mr. Thomson. We went to Cargo, to check in on Mr. Romano, and ensure that Buck Thompson was doing nothing malicious. To our horror, Mr. Thompson and Johan Wurst were trying to "rewire" mr. Romano, by demonizing his other friends, trying to establish himself as his "best friend" calling one of his friends an "Evil succubus" that wanted to take Mr. Romano away from them. This already was blatantly abusing Mr. Romano's condition. Yet security did not charge, or detain Mr. Thompson with anything, or do anything at all, really. After a bit of arguing, Mr. Romano was clearly stressed by the whole situation, and went up the cargo elevator, to the surface. At the cargo bay surface, after I hacked the door open (Upon a security officer's request), more arguing ensued, (Mr. Thompson blaming me and Mr. Thomson for stressing out Mr. Romano, despite himself shouting through the entire ordeal) Mr. Romano, then layed down on the floor, clearly due to the stress of the entire ordeal. Mr. Thomson then approached him, covering Mr. Romano with their coat, and as they did, Mr. Thompson tried to sic Mr. Romano's guard dog on Mr. Thomson, which could've easily lead to serious injury. After a while, Mr. Romano said that he's had enough, and that he needed to be alone. Mr. Thompson of course, was the first to chase after him. After that, I was the first to find Mr. Romano, and I decided to employ the help of Lena Hegarty, who was not previously involved in the whole ordeal, and was widely known to be a kind soul, so I thought she would be able to at least calm Mr. Romano down a bit. Though, unfortunately, after a while, Mr. Thompson also found out where Mr. Romano was, immediately running up to him, and screaming at him, once again. He then also shoved a bowl of spaghetti in Mr. Romano's face saying that it "would help", and he pretty much coerced Mr. Romano into eating a bowl of spaghetti by shouting at him. During that, I was trying to stop Mr. Thompson, and to give Romano some space. Despite my pleas, Officer Luukanen did not do anything, despite the call of the medical intern present at the scene, to give Mr. Romano space, instead saying that maybe the spaghetti will indeed help. At that point, emotion overtook me, and I slapped Buck Thompson, thinking this was all maybe some sick joke, and that a slap would break him out of it, but no. After that I went on a walk to cool off. After that, a second incident transpired, the day after. Mr. Buck Thompson, hit Mr. Romano with a shovel in an attempt to "fix" him. Miss Alice was present for this, as well as Annika Vorobye, who might've been an accomplice in Buck Thompson's "Plan". In short. Mr. Thompson is an abuser, that should not be anywhere close to Antonio Romano, and I am fairly certain that they may be holding them back from proffesional help, although that is just speculation at this point. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: The Research Director did not respond to the situation despite Mr. Thomson's calls over the radio, instead leaving the matter to security during the first incident. During the second incident, a captain was present, but it happened right at the end of a very busy shift ((happened during an event round with a Phoron eating bug, Ninjas and a wizard.)) Actions taken: Buck Thompson was arrested and charged with assault after the second incident Additional Notes: Antonio Romano may not be mentally sound enough to testify, as even to a non-medical proffesional such as me, he is clearly mentally unwell. Taika Thomson and Buck Thompson are in no way related, and the surnames are simply a coincidence
