Why do you wish to play this specific race: The Vaurcae, are probably one of the most alien, of the alien species (rip Vox), with their social structure and culture being something incredibely unique that can't really be found anywhere else.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Well, to start off with, Vaurca don't exactly work for themselves, they work for the hive. The work they do do for themselves, is simply so they can sustain themselves and do more work for their hive. Vaurca are split into three (Or four if you count the stinkees >:T) hives, along with different broods, each with a different relation to other hives, personality and flavour, in general

Character Name: Za'Akaix'Ghur C'thur

Please provide a short backstory for this character: Ghur, born to The Recondite Queen, spent the first year of their life, in VR, learning Skrell, as well as Vaurcae research techniques, and any other bits of information, they might need. After being taken out of VR, they spent around a half a year, assisting at a Skrell orbital research facility, during that time, they had grew quite a liking to Skrell, or- federation Skrell, to be precise.

After that, they ended up being chosen as one of the workers, to be sent off to Tau Ceti, after NT requisitioning a C'thur workforce to help out with the recent Phoron crisis. They begrugingly went (not like they had much of a choice) they are now in an unfamiliar place, mistrustful of everyone but Skrell and their own hive.

What do you like about this character? Ghur is a Vaurca in a very new enviroment to him, surrounded by a lot of things he would find strange, and he'll have to find where he will stand, in this far away land

How would you rate your role-playing ability? I'd say around a 7.5/10
