Reason of Ban: "Validhunting as Paramedic to the point of body blocking and assisting security with a vampire, and then DCing when you found yourself out of an airlock"

Reason for Appeal:The reason I even got myself into that situation is because I thought that Paramedics had universal maint access like on Baystation and other servers, so I pretty much got stuck in a tiny room with an active antag and two VERY incompetent sec officers. I DCed when I got killed by the antag because IRL stuff came up, and I figured that was the end of the round for me, anyway.

I find this unbelievable. In fact I remember this exact same thing happening a week ago where you died to an antagonist and immediately disconnected. What gives?

Well, I just didn't want to play anymore, then. There's no rule against disconnecting when you die.

So did you have irl stuff come up or did you just not want to play anymore? There's a massive difference.

 

Two, you have a history of doing things like this back in 2018, and while that is a while ago, I haven't even known you existed until recently, and considering your doing exactly what you have done before, which is valid hunting, this gives me the impression you've just come back to try and get some valids on antags secured before moving back on to the next server.

This time, I had IRL stuff come up. Secondly, I'm not banned anywhere else, and i'm a regular on Bay, and sometimes play on Bee. I don't have a perfect record, but I don't go out of my way to be a shitter.

In 2018 i was new to HRP servers, so I made quite a few embarassing mistakes due to my lack of experience. This time I just messed up and gotten myself in a bad situation. I admit I should've checked if Paramedics could get out of that room before getting in, but I had gotten use to different access and didn't think about it, so that's my mistake, but what resulted was more me trying to stay alive in a terrible situation rather than a spirited attempt at catching the bad guy (at which I would've done an incredibly poor job as my job wasn't equipped at doing so.)

Well, I wanted to set stage by cargo, set a roller bed down and all because security all mobilized. I've heard shots coming from inside and the door open, and I saw someone injured when it did, so I assumed the antag already fucked off and that they needed help. I was very wrong. I got in, The door closed behind me, the antag popped out, shenanigans ensued.

Right, so I am going to deny this, after consulting with some of the other staff I have been informed that the door was not only open, it was being held open by a cargo technician, who probably could have opened the door for you should it have even closed.
