It would be nice to be able to take long range pictures for a number of applications. My initial thought is a mechanic like the binoculars where you bring them up and the screen shifts wherethen you can take a picture as normal by clicking a section of the screen.

Normal telephoto lenses are rather large so you could make it pretty obvious to anyone near you what you were up to and it could make it cumbersome to carry to level things out.

I like this idea. A way to be a sneaky snooper, and get some evidence while you're at it.
