A Permanent Light For Dionae in Space

I recently started playing my diona xenoarcheologist again, and quickly found that the basic lantern doesn't provide sustenance for diona out on the asteroid. This is untenable while searching for artifacts, and the only solution that worked was either dragging an industrial floodlight, which meant I could not drag a suspension field generator to the place where it would be needed and survive, or carrying glowshrooms or the emergency light in my pocket, which both run out of juice.

There ought to be some source of light I can keep on my person that won't run out in fifteen minutes while I'm out on the asteroid. That or some way to upgrade the battery in a diona's emergency light.

The emergency light lasts 3 minutes, the glowshrooms last... 15? I don't know how miners do it personally, it seems difficult to really get out and about easily without sticking to light spots in the asteroid. Maybe that's how it's done?

As someone who's played a Miner Diona, and a Xenoarch Diona, they are fairly different albeit similar, but is often overlooked as both being EVA Digging Jobs.

Miners get options to not have to carry around the ore box. Honestly, Drill Techs are the best route for Diona. If doing Shaft Miner, it starts off slower, that's for sure, but you'll reach a point with it where you won't need to. Juggling the Flood Lights and Ore Box is a bit more manageable in my opinion with the KA, but annoying nonetheless.

Xenoarch though, you have no choice. You have to have that suspension field generator. You can not dig artifacts without it. You can dig anomalies, and that's it. The Xenoarch also only has a drill, and is far slower at getting around the asteroid, mixed in with the slow Diona Speed.

Xenoarch is RP heavy. Almost all of it requires RP to do well. The mechanics are practically negligible, the job is only as fun as you make it. And Diona Xenoarchs are hindered already by being slow that it can cut into RP. Having to try to juggle a floodlight or use glowshrooms assuming a Xenobotanist was even available to begin with... It goes even worse. You can't rely on that emergency light. Its an emergency light, it lasts about as long as the Diona walks five feet outside, because its meant for emergencies.

Mining can get around the light issue... annoyingly but they can. Xenoarch though is torture. I fully agree with them getting like, the UV light or something equal.
